Drudge Reports:
Late Thursday evening, Mitt Romney's presidential campaign launched a new fundraising drive, 'Meet The VP' -- just as Romney himself has narrowed the field of candidates to a handful, sources reveal. And a surprise name is now near the top of the list: Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice!

Smart? Missy Rice smart? We talking about the same bimbo that phoned Bush and told him Mr. President, don't worry, it was just a little private plane they flew into the WTC.

Smart as in being the National Security Director at the time didn't tell Bush that bin Laden according to intelligence reports were desperate to attack on American soil?

Smart as in the bitch was behind Bush and Powell lying their ass off in front of the UN and fabericating lies that Iraq and "weapons of mass destruction".

Really if that's your idea of being "smart", then you're pretty dumb.

You're preachin' to the choir Mr. Won - but - even a 15 yr old should be able to see that Romney will never be elected....look at my profile - before you call me a dummy :-)

Yes, I believe she would be although I do not think she will accept.Plus that choice will help him pick up some voters, but may turn off a lot,as we saw with Hillary,I would like to see him bring someone with a lot of following with him that would add strengh to him.Like Ron Paulif he would accept I believe that is a choice that would assure him being our next president.

She is just more of the same of what we got from the Bush,Clinton, Bush and Obama administrations. Bigger and bigger goverment, stripping of personal freedoms, war war and more wars and finally maore debt and bailouts of the banks. Our problems grow bigger and our country is destroyed. Something has to change and fast.

Obama and Romney are CFR members for a One World Order, Rice and Portman are CFR members so it will be one of them that he picks.

Rice will not run. She wants to be the Commissioner of the NFL.

That's been a long time dream of hers and she hasn't made it yet, so I doubt if it will ever happen.

I think it will be one of the two, if she holds true to what she says then it will be Portman. I think Rubio would be the best pick.

They want people who are out for a One World Order.

Portman it is then. He still has to get past the Convention. I'm still hoping he fails. Either way The USA is toast. We cant just keep doing the same things over and over expecting that they will produce a better result.

Exactly, but if you notice they get their guy in either party. They can't come up with anyone that is for this country and it's freedoms and for the people anymore. It's all about a world agenda.

I can understand the yes votes as she's a true black and well loved by many conservatives and a woman -- however, she's pro-Palestinian and so I will be going to the polls with Pepto in my purse and a clothespin on my nose .... but MUST vote against Obama in a meaningful way....

actually it doesn't matter. If they don't do anything to curb the love for money, and turn the nation to God for help.. in 4 years it'll be even more worse off.. if it even makes it that far.

Rice is the woman who helped lie the nation into the invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan post 911. She's the national security adviser who failed to prevent or predict 911 when Colonel Anthony Schaefer and Able Danger had predicted the event and identified the players months ahead of time. Since when is it appropriate to promote the national security adviser to secretary of state when 3000 people die on her watch?

It's unfair to Condy - the poor gal would now be tied to Mitt in history which is an unfortunate end to her political career.

Never happen. Romney will never appear with some one with superior brain power like Rice. He needs another Palin or Bachmann to make him look good.

And as bright as she is she would also be a liability on domestic matters both as to being a social progressive (or at least centrist) and perhaps also being somewhat uninformed (although she's probably a quick study and we might not get entertained like we were with Palin.) I do think she's probably brilliant but I'm also not sure we want someone with NeoCon ties and an intellectually disengaged POTUS back at VP....

It would be for Conservatives to improve on their BIG TENT LIE. However the Conservatives and RIGHT WING BIGOTS HEADS WOULD EXPLODE if he did pick her.

She would not get any more votes for Romney.

A good choice for Romney, and a much better choice than Palin ever was.

Not a good choice for America overall, as she and the 24 advisors Romney's talking with (17 who worked with Bush) appear to be re-molding the Bush administration, in the likeness of Kid Romney.

And we all know what that got us:

    missme

But she said last month she wasn't interested in a VP slot, so it's a moot point.

Besides, would any true conservative want her as VP...she's pro-choice, and generally speaking, a proponent for gay rights and other things?

C'mon, conservatives...tell us who you really want!
