Dr. Benjamin Carson, the Doctor who gave the AMAZING speech at the National Prayer Breakfast is now being criticized by some on the left who say he was being disrespectful to the president. Do you agree?

The President is OUR employee, not the other way around.
Once in a while, a lousy employee needs to be called onto the mat.
That is all that was done.

It is also no surprise that those on the left found fault with someone criticising their golden child.

This is comical..... How much respect did liberals ever show GW Bush???? It is about time that someone told the emperor that he is naked......

Dr. Carson spoke the truth in a plain and simple manner......Kryptonite to liberals.....

If Obama was offended then he validates my suspicions that he does not understand the principals of this country. Dr. Carson has a right to speak his mind and Obama can take it.

Nobody is above criticism including but not limited to the President, after all the President is just a man no better than any other man, and many people believe his actions as President deserve much criticism.

I watched the clip, 3 times! Having sincere, truthful opinions, is not disrespect. That being said, Obama deserves NO respect as he is an anti American, anti republic, Marxists communist. Where we found him or him us, no one really knows for sure..... Obama was disrespectful to Dr. Conrad, at least Michelle had enough on the ball to clap appropriatly, Obama just sat there cold and stone faced.

Those who say he was disrespectful are the exact same people he was speaking to about political correctness being sucn a danger to this country. I'm sick to death of the left wing media condemning anyone who speaks out about obama when everyone with an open eye and who is not slobbering all over themselves over obama would condemn ANY conservative doing the exact same things.

He spent the first 20 minutes of his speech on God and his tough childhood and the last 7 on the national debt, high tax and Obamacare. He was not disrespectful on the President. He was exercising his free speech. If you watch, Michelle Obama clapped several times.

I would never feel someone who has the courage to say what they believe in is disrespectful. Those that are accusing him of disrespect are only mad that someone spoke up so beautifully. Besides, the President is our employee, he is not a king.

I agree they are attacking the doctor because he doesn't tow the liberal line. He is a honest, intelligent and decent man and the left always hate them most. And him being black allows them to trash a black person which they relish. And they will encourage other blacks to attack him too. Remember Bill Cosby speaking truth and reason only to be brutally beat down by the left. I mean how do you attack Bill Cosby?

Supporters of Obama are, of course, upset by the fact that the prominent American doctor doesn't support Obama. Even more disturbing for them is the fact that Benjamin Carson is a black man.
Whenever a black person doesn't support Obama, that person becomes a target of their hatred. Usually they call such a person "Uncle Tom".
In this way they betray their ignorance. Of course, they haven't ever read the great novel of Harriet Beecher Stowe "Uncle Tom's Cabin", in which Uncle Tom is portrayed as a very noble figure, as they have never read any books at all, and, as a general rule, lack a very basic education.

    A Founding Father
Being a medical doctor does not in any way imply that "Doctor" has any social skills or enough character and understanding to know where he was and why he was invited to speak at the "Prayer Breakfast". The traditional breakfast gathering is one of the last places one would engage in a divisive political rant, being exactly the opposite purpose for which the breakfast was intended. But, given the desperation and calloused disregard for propriety that now is the Republican agenda, it is little surprising they engaged in this unforgivable assault on decency and social manners. So much for another "Uncle Tom".

The wingnuts have induced a half dozen black men to dance and sing for the old white boys who have become such losers - a pizza salesman, a disgraced military officer, a representative from small town nowhere, a Governor of one of the "dependant" states, even an actor who once made a movie. All together, they accomplished nothing except to further reveal the lack of respect these people have for the operations of this Republic and it's elected officers, and the depth of their disregard for decency.

First the doctor did not give a "Divisive Political Rant". He gave a very tasteful, accurate, calm speech which is exactly what has the "left" so upset. He did not assault anyone. And the President is OUR employee not the other way around. The "Doctor" has more social skills, character and understanding in his little finger than the president who almost always talks down to people and is always divisive. If you know anything about this Doctor, you would know when he is invited to give a speech, it is usually on these topics, so no one should be surprised.

Studied, this was a great post...the doctor spoke intelligently and calmly, not with the arrogance and disdain that we normally hear from Obama. Mr. Obama should take a lesson from this black man who just might run for political office one day. He stated in one of his interviews that he is an Independent and does not vote party and in my opinion, if he decided to run for office he would serve this country well. We are not racist as the left wants everyone to believe, its not the color of the skin, it's the content of the character and this doctor's character is one to be admired. Unfortunately, Obama's is not.
