I understood the last administration being compared to the nazi's due to the introduction of prison camps. Truth be told not much has changed. Obama moved Guantanamo stateside and the war efforts on far removed nations in the middle east continues. Realistically, if you drew parallels between the prior administration and Hitler and you fail to do so for the current one then you have the blinders on.
Ask yourself, How much longer can we afford to throw money away on fruitless wars? The war on drugs costs roughly 50 billion dollars a year and prevents mostly all of the possible income that could come from farming the "drugs" here in the US. How much money a year does the war effort in the middle east cost? Far more than the war on drugs I imagine. We need to get from point A to point B with point A representing this constant bleeding of money to fund self righteous do-goodery we support in our political arenas, and point B representing having had reality settle in and we come to terms with letting some people live how they like in peace for billions of less dollars on the backs of the American taxpayer. Smoke your joints, snort your cocaine, worship your god, i don't give a shit as long as your not a violent threat to others, get your god damned hand out of my wallet.
