Quantcast

Don't you get it? Whether a Democrat politician or Republican politician, at the end of the day, they will always have more in common with one another than they ever will with you.

Each plays to a base and a corporate interest because of the money involved and the ignorance of the average voter.

Well forgive me, but this type of question is typically a lead in to a promotion of Ron Paul, self righteous and tiresome followers of whom are often referred to as "Paulpukes". The premise is usually that neither candidate nor usual party is an intelligent endorsement.

As long as it doesn't lead to a promotion of Paul, you can consider me mistaken.

It's the same here in the UK. Most people criticise the Conservatives and a large number of the cabinet because they went to elite private schools such as Eton and so have little in common with most people in the country, but sadly the Labour party also has half its shadow cabinet from the same elite background. A Labour MP and a Conservative MP often have much more in common than either does with 95% of the UK population.
