DOJ is suing an Indiana egg producer for requiring documentation from illegals
INDIANAPOLIS — The Justice Department is suing a southern
Indiana-based egg producer to stop alleged discrimination against
non-U.S. citizens in the hiring process.
The complaint against Rose Acre Farms Inc. alleges the
Seymour-based company required non-citizens to produce more, different
or specific documents issued by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security
to verify their eligibility for work, while U.S. citizens were
permitted to present their choice of documents. It says federal law
prohibits employers from placing additional burdens for documentation on
non-citizens.
A person answering the phone at the company's Seymour headquarters after business hours Tuesday said no one was available to comment on the allegations.
Rose Acre Farms employs about 1,850 workers at more than 40 sites in six states.

This makes as much sense as suing the State of Florida for purging their voter registry of dead people, and allowing voter intimidation. Meanwhile destroying another business. What do you think?

"At a recent Obama rally in Ohio, prospective attendees were told to brandish their photo IDs if they expected admittance to the rally. No word yet on whether Attorney General Eric Holder plans to file suit against the Obama campaign for infringing upon Ohioans' right of peaceful assembly by way of a racist photo ID rule.
Jessica Kershaw, the Obama campaign's Ohio Press Secretary, confirmed in a statement to BuzzFeed that the campaign checked every supporter's identification at the door.
"We checked every ID at the door to make sure it matched with the name on the ticket that supporters filled out," she said. "We did this for every person who came in."
Since President Obama sides with Holder in thinking it's Racist™ for states to require photo identification to vote, he must be apoplectic at himself for discriminating against those who don't get state-issued photo IDs. By asking for rally-goers to provide photo ID before entry, the Obama campaign is silently sanctioning the effectiveness of photo identification.

What makes a rally different from voter integrity? What makes buying cigarettes, alcohol, renting a car, a hotel room, cashing a check, opening a bank account, membership at the Y, buying cold medicine, or entering a club any different? You check photo identification to protect the thing which such an exchange accesses and to confirm that you are the age you claim. Is a person's vote less unworthy of protection than buying Sudafed -- or attending an Obama rally?"

Until i remembered illegals can get a debit card, welfare, free phone etc. as soon as they apply for it..
Not going to let something like a pesky job stop them..
"Illegal Aliens,come on down!!!"
Hope they have the funds to fight this all the way - this DOJ has their priorities screwed up
No matter what you do the government takes your money and punishes job creation.
Most Illegals have forged or fake documents. Also a felony. It's reasonable for an employer to want additional proof.
Seriously though, I'm not sure that the left understands what their people are doing. The nation is going to lose Her, well, everything. I know they like to help the less advantaged, but what's wrong with helping disadvantaged Americans while dealing with the ILLEGALS? See? The fact that they are breaking the law is in their name...
JUSTICE FOR WHO.. CERTAINLY NOT AMERICANS.
THIS MAKES ME WANT TO PUKE!
Get the story straight - Rose Acre Farms is NOT being sued for requiring documentation from illegals. They are being sued for discriminating against LEGAL immigrants who already HAVE proper documentation from the Immigration service that PROVES they are here legally. This is not the first case of this nature, and the prior cases, including one in Sheriff Joe's backyard in Maricopa, Arizona, have all been upheld. When two people come in for work and one shows you a birth certificate saying he was born in Brooklyn and the other shows you a Green Card and a work visa, both of those employees' papers should be accepted and that should be the end of it. Instead, even though the immigrant has provided proof of his legality he is then asked to produce numerous additional documents, and often questioned or even denied employment because most idiot right wingers simply assume that any Hispanic in America must be here illegally. That is discrimination and it is illegal. (And the fun...

I realize that the Constitution and laws of this nation don't mean much to the Right Wing, but they exist and there's nothing you can do about it.
And meanwhile, your continued defense of yet another attempt by the Republicans to suppress the votes of millions of legal voters to prevent nonexistent voter fraud is predictable, yet no less pathetic.
This is first hand knowledge.
You need to put information in a sound bite or a few short sentences. After that, their ADD takes over.
And any company that has a network, is required by any of the network security standards outfits such as SANS, ISO27001, SIG5, BITS, FISAP, FAS or NIST, ALL require only to have proper paperwork, but have background checks with ID and Living History Conformation.
This one will go nowhere.
