Doesn't it seem that all we hear from the left is 'Talking Points' straight out of the White House from libs here on SH?

Yep, all they can seem to spout is crap from whitehouse.gov!
Hey! We libs are smartier than that!
I really don't know, I tune them out right after I hear 'It's Bush's fault!'...again.
You!

My wife has this aunt who was a legislator (liberal) in another state. I was hoping to get a real insight from her about how the left really thinks as all I get is talking points from libs here on SH. We visited her this summer and I thought "Oh boy, now I get the real scoop!" And what did I get? Talking points and lots of snide remarks concerning anything conservative.
I was shocked. I really expected better and certainly some indepth conversation about liberal policies even if she was wrong. She couldn't even prove her points and got really mad when I corrected her on obama's policy decisions which she should have known!

Poor woman, she's just marching over the cliff like all the rest of the libs are doing.
I don't think I'll bother discussing anything at Thanksgiving...poor thing will be in a funk then anyway. obama having lost and all, lol!

Libs don't have views of their own, their simply a broadcasting system for their Messiah

Arguing with Liberals is like playing chess with a pigeon: "It knocks the pieces over, craps over the board and flies back to its flock to claim victory, blaming Bush for it's inability to debate

    Wow, where to begin.

First off, I believe that the middle class is the backbone of this country. And promoting the agenda of the rich over the middle class is the wrong approach...

As as specific CEOs and corporations? Wow, off the top of my head..
Chesapeake energy, Bank of America, any company outsourcing or offshoring, profitable companies doing layoffs, of course Koch industries... and many more.

Please, those are all liberal talking points, give specific reasons. By the way, were do you think all these hated and taxed corporations are going to go? Would you stay here with outrageous union costs, higher taxes and a constant barrage of slander?
    Give me spacifics.

I think the top 2% (myself included) tax bracket "bush tax cut" should be allow to expire. Our taxes going up 4% isn't going to hurt us. But cutting Ronald Reagan's Child tax credit, will hurt those that need it.

I think that cutting government services right now, is going to hurt our economy.
For example, when you pay unemployment, that money goes right back into the economy and supports small businesses... when you cut that off, it is going to hurt those small businesses.

As far as corporations go. I like them. I work for one. I don't think they are hated or slandered in general. Some are, but then again some deserve it.

As far as corporations leaving... the Cayman corporate tax rate is 0%. Yet for some reason, there are still corporations in the US. Should we compete and drop taxes for corporations? Maybe we should pay them (to keep ahead of the Cayman Islands). Maybe we could take what used to be middle class jobs and make them minimum wage jobs to appease them.... Then lower the minimum wage ... that seems to be the current conservative plan...

I actually see this more from the left than the right; but I do see the left accusing the right of it more often.

Kind of reminds me of the cold war; the U.S. accused Russia of doing all kinds of stuff; that Russia really wasn’t doing, yet the U.S. was doing. People tend to portray their own traits on others; so when the left accuses the right of copy and pasting; it’s because that’s what they are doing.

Not really, there is just a jump to call anyone against the republicans Obama's people. Fact is most off The Occupy movement was against Obama as well It was always weird that we'd protest all these Dem events and then I'd see on the news that night haw we were Obama's Army

I'd like to see Obama and Romney both out and the race be between Johnson and Stein that way we can all have some intelligent conversation and whichever one wins we would be better off that the 2 we got now

So please tell us about those tax cuts. They have done little to nothing for small businesses or the economy.

"They're temporary, narrow, and not what small business owners are asking for, which are fewer regulations and a permanent cut in the personal income tax rate or at least no hike in that rate. Third, they have no chance of being enacted in 2012... The tax cuts included tax relief limited to a fraction of the six million small businesses in America. "

As if we get what we're asking for. Fewer regulations may be required for a truly small business, but the definition is so broad that many large businesses are included in the small business definition.

    From January 31, 2012;

President Barack Obama sent Congress a package of small business measures today that he said would expand tax relief and unlock capital to boost the economy and create jobs.

The plan would expand and make permanent a zero capital gains rate on small business investments; enact a new, 10 percent tax credit for hiring or increasing wages; double to $10,000 from $5,000 the deductions a startup business could take and extend 100 percent first-year depreciation, for one year, for qualified property placed in service before Jan. 1, 2013.

    http://www.bloomberg.com/news...

    Unlocking capital is the key.

How does a tax cut help in a depressed economy under constant attack from the left? Kinda like asking the poor to turn in their paid for fuel efficient car for a new one in cash for clunkers. The upper middle class did however benefit from that stupid idea.

What do you consider someone who

-Has ordered strikes without concern to civilian casualty killing women and children and then in one case ordering the bombing of a childs funeral to get those gathered
    - Waged war on Libya without congressional approval
    - Escalated a proxy war in Somalia
-Sold Sold $30 billion of weapons
-Has secretly deployed US special forces to 75 countries
-and even ordered killing of a US citizen and his 16 year old son
Not to mention his already threatening illegal action against Iran

Now be honest with yourself would you still feel the same way if he had an R next to his name?

What strikes? The ones in Pakistan?

We also waged a proxy war against the Soviet Union in Afghanistan, and that was by an R.

$30, 000, 000,000 in gun sales to Mexicans is ridiculous. Last I heard they sold 2020 weapons to the Mexican cartels.

Are you seriously complaining about how the CIC uses his forces?

Illegal action against Iran? Most Republicans was to nuke 'em.

Yes, I will vote for Obama again.
