The Georgia Guidestones is a large granite monument in Elbert County, Georgia, USA. A message comprising ten guides is inscribed on the structure in eight modern languages, and a shorter message is inscribed at the top of the structure in four ancient languages' scripts: Babylonian, Classical Greek, Sanskrit, and Egyptian hieroglyphs.

The structure is sometimes referred to as an "American Stonehenge."[1] The monument is almost 20 feet (6.1 m) tall if the buried support stones are included, exactly 18 feet (5.5 m) otherwise[2], and made from six granite slabs weighing more than 240,000 pounds (110,000 kg) in all.[3] One slab stands in the center, with four arranged around it. A capstone lies on top of the five slabs, which are astronomically aligned. An additional stone tablet, which is set in the ground a short distance to the west of the structure, provides some notes on the history and purpose of the Guidestones.

All great civilizations come and then eventually collapse. What makes us think that western civilization is any different? The Georgia Guide stones are a message to the next civilization as to the proper way of sustaining life on our planet. natural resources are not infinite. What happens is that people focus on things such as money, expensive items they own, their house, their high paying job, etc and these people are ignorant. They are unable to see the bigger picture because they don't want to. The monetary system is fragile and can collapse. It will collapse at some point. It is inevitable. I'm sure that well to do people during the fall of Rome didn't believe things were coming to end.

How about realist? How come so many of those guidelines seem to be agendas the progressives push? It is also rumored that Ted Turner is the guy that had this erected.
Ted Turner, famous for supporting U.N. and then in 2008 interview: Turner also received attention when he asserted on PBS's Charlie Rose television program that if steps are not taken to address global warming, "Most of the people will have died and the rest of us will be cannibals." Turner also said he advocated drastically cutting the U.S. military budget and Americans having no more than 2 children in the interview.

    So, paranoid, nope.
