Does the US need to be involved in Libya?

Obama has said Kadhafi needs to go, Clinton is meeting with the rebels, the United Nations, 30 days after the fact and probably after the rebels have lost, are still debating a no-fly zone over Libya.
Historical perspective:
"I am not opposed to all wars. I’m opposed to dumb wars." - Barack Obama in 2002 on going to war with Iraq. We had no reason to be there according to him. Do we have any more reason to be in Libya?
