The Democrats have the female vote, the hispanic vote, the gay vote and the black vote because they do not disenfranchise minorities to the extent that Republicans do.

My family has a proud history in this country, Two Confederat Veterans, both Democrats, and many Roosevelt Democrats, and Lincoln Republicans. Three Union members, including a teacher. Hell, my dad is a Teamster and a member of an Operator- Engineer Union.
We have always, except for my Leftist sister-in-law, prided ourselves on being smart enough to make our own decisions, not look for some Party to give us marching orders.
