The recent mass shooting committed by a person who, by all appearances, was perfectly normal and well on his way to a successful life gives us all cause to wonder what it is which could possibly make a person 'snap' and turn into a monster. Does it give YOU cause to wonder what could make you snap? Is pondering such a thing healthy?

Soapstone 2012/07/22 06:52:02No! I'm the picture of normalcy. That could NEVER happen to me!

Of course I am referring to people who would normally walk among us largely unnoticed, not blatant, medicated insanity.
Insanity: disagreement with the majority on what constitutes reality.
Who's to say!?
'Never", bites a lot of people in the ass.
Now, wait right there while I go call 911. :-D
I have no concerns about 'snapping'. I loathe violence and aggression under any guise, it is simply inconceivable that I would ever see this kind of action as a solution to anything.
It's like I tell people: if I went that far over the edge I'd *want* somebody to ventilate my cranium. Hell, I'd want to ventilate it myself! I also understand that it doesn't work that way. The sane part of an individual would want to be dead rather than injure or kill others, but to get to that point the sane part is the first thing to go.
That's why absolute statements are dangerous. They 'tempt fate' in a manner of speaking.
