    Wasn't this part of homeland security? Anyway the government has shown that it can ignore the law and get away with it so we are converting to Oceania. Thanks GW.

    Matt, I assume you are talking about the situation in England. If so, I would agree. I never been anywhere that had atthorities so in love with the concept of constant surveilance of it's population.
    I look at this another example of governmental power that I don't want the US to follow.

    And "security" is just an excuse. If they were serious about our security, the borders would have been secured years ago.

    Only if there is suspicion of terrorist activity etc, as a rule I do not think they do have the right.
