"Nearly one-third (31%) (of the occupy protesters) would support violence to advance their agenda."

Five members of Occupy Cleveland (a regional group of Occupy Wall Street) face charges of conspiracy and attempted use of explosive material to damage physical property affecting interstate commerce in connection with their attempt to blow up a bridge in Cleveland.
Occupy Cleveland acknowledged the suspects belonged to its group, but disassociated itself from the crime saying the suspects, “in no way representing or acting on behalf of Occupy Cleveland.” Yet, 50 Occupy Cleveland members showed up at the courthouse for the arraignment of the suspects -- one even asked for prayers for the suspects.

The self-proclaimed anarchists include 21-year-old Connor Stevens, 24-year-old Joshua Stafford (aka “Skully”), 26-year-old Douglas Wright (aka “Cyco), 20-year-old Brandon Baxter (aka “Skabby”) and 37-year-old Anthony Hayne (aka “Tony” & “Billy”).

After these five were arrested, an Occupy organizer said they “don’t share its non-violent views and don’t represent Occupy Cleveland” (except maybe for the one who signed the warehouse lease).
Many members of Occupy Cleveland continued to distance themselves from the alleged would-be bridge bombers yesterday by… showing up at their arraignment

They just were stupid enough to get caught.
BTW if they had succeeded without getting caught, the tea party would have been blamed.
Also I might note any of those places you want to send us, were all ruled by the wealthy at one time, people fought to change the system which is what we are doing
It's not reflective of the movement, any more than David Duke is reflective of the GOP
I hold the Tea Party to the same standard I hold occupy and political parties, I judge based on what the groups "official positions" are
Hitler youth.
To be honest if you really look at the Occupy mob you'd really have to scratch your head to see any coherency. Occupy is like a perfect storm of Far Right-wing and Far left-wing moon bats all nestled together like a tumor.
You've got the utopianists on one side spouting the typical mindless blather from yester-year about how the world would be a wonderful place if everyone would just give up ownership of things (yeah... that's really going to happen). Then you have the distopianists on the other side spouting about how the world is controlled by the Grinch or Santa Claus or whatever faceless evil overlord their fevered imaginations came up with.
It's hilarious to watch this group because, where can you find a collection of nazi's, communists, criminals, anarchists, rapists, environmentalists, feminists, racists and multi-culturalists all sit together singing Kum-bay-ya together. It's amazing.
So, I think some of the occupy people probably supported these wingnuts. Maybe quite a few. But there's got to be others that didn't. Who knows. It's like trying to clean up diarrhea with a weed-wacker figuring out their ideals.
They should be tried as domestic terrorist and thrown in jail, along with their extended support group in Cleveland. (Occupy)
