Does Obama Have a Corrupt Administration? Rep. Issa Thinks So
President Obama’s detractors have called him a lot of things: a secret Muslim, a socialist/Marxist and a typical big-spending liberal. But, starting this week, you may hear him called much worse: corrupt.
California Republican Rep. Darrell Issa, who is about to take over as the chairman of the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform in the new GOP-controlled House of Representatives, has promised to make good on threats of a flood of subpoenas, investigations and probes of Obama administration policies from the past two years.
Speaking to CNN’s “State of the Union” over the weekend, Issa started off by backtracking a bit on previous comments he’d made on Rush Limbaugh’s show calling Obama “one of the most corrupt presidents in modern times”, clarifying that what he meant to say was that Obama has “one of the most corrupt administrations” in recent memory.
“When you hand out $1 trillion in TARP just before this president came in, most of it unspent, $1 trillion nearly in stimulus that this president asked for, plus this huge expansion in healthcare and government, it has a corrupting effect,” he said by way of explaining his rationale for the label. “When I look at waste, fraud and abuse in the bureaucracy and in the government, this is like steroids to pump up the muscles of waste.”
Anchor Ed Henry reminded Issa that it was the previous Bush administration that had actually put TARP through, but Issa remained determined to put the blame on Obama. Confronted by Henry, Issa quickly rolled his comments back, claiming it wasn’t TARP he was actually talking about.
“Trillions of dollars in extra money that were basically used like Presidential earmarks … President Obama inherited $800 billion worth of walking-around money with no guidelines so that what was supposed to help financial institutions ultimately bailed out car manufacturers,” he said. Issa put some of the blame on Congress as well, saying they were at fault for not demanding a “blow-by-blow, dollar-by-dollar” plan for spending the cash.
Do you agree with Issa that this administration is corrupt?

Cyber tooth cat > ^. .^ <
It goes to show you who the Republican party work for and it is not the American people. They work for corporate American in fleecing the middle class and poor of our nation. They will waste hundreds of millions of dollars and fine nothing, just like with Bill Clinton and Whitewater.
Who's lying now?
From CFP describing themselves: "Espousing Conservative viewpoints, cornerstone of which contain love of God, love of family, love of country, CFP maintains a loyal and growing readership."
No bias there, eh...
"A country that is the font of war and oppression, whose dominance rests on the weak reed of puppet states, and whose economy is collapsing will not long remain dominant."
Back on topic - I consider the Obama administration to be nothing more than Clinton/Bush lite - i.e., conservative lite - on foreign and monetary policy and plainly just more of the same ol' quest for US dominance. Considering that these are established US policies, do you hold Obama at fault for continuing them?
Issa was correct at the first ... as wel as now...
Let's look forward if we may ... to what SHOULD be. This man respects MLK/Lincoln/Washington and the ideals of the Constitution of the USA and recognises islam/shari'a as the gravest threat to mankinds freedom .
Of course he's created the most corrupt administration in US history and those who continue to support him are crazy because none of them care AT ALL about you.
Those who voted for him and still support him should be ashamed of themselves for allowing this to happen. You've destroyed us.
There's tons of proof out there if you look for it. No matter what I say to you, you will argue it. I am not going to take my time looking for your proof, just so you will argue with me.
By all means, keep on believing. He will destroy you.
Have a good day.
You have a good day too.
