    20 years ago when I was an impressionable young lad, we listened to metal music that sung songs about being trapped under ice or raining blood, rap music that quantified a good day by not using an AK, and alternative music that spoke about the dark side of the spoon. Nowadays, it's either dance music with rap over it about how a guy gets money or some weak radio-rock song about how a guy's mother doesn't understand him or how he can't keep a good girlfriend because he's too sensitive...

    ... you know what? Perhaps the taming down of those music styles isnegatively influencing children!
