One thing I know for sure, Mitt Romney is not a communist or a marxist. People that complain that he is rich, so what? Barry wants to take the rich people's money.........to give to the low lifes that do NOT work. He is not a liar we all ready have a liar in chief in OUR White House and he totally disrespects the office. He surrounds himself with morons like Turbo Tax Geither, Robert Gibbs, Jay Carney, Erik Whitaker, Valerie Jarrett, and his ugly wife that likes to spend our taxpayer dollars for all the vacations, jewelry, and shopping trips. We need someone like Mitt Romney to bring grace and elegance back into Our White House. Someone we can be proud to say he is our POTUS not some moron that doesn't know how to govern. Someone that will not side with the Muslim Brotherhood and foreign socialists.

Well, at least he, and we know who,or should I say what he is not. And that is a socialist leaning, friend of communists tax loving liberal like Obama. If you look at Obama's own books, you find that he was raised by and learned from mostly socialistic people, Many of the people he hired were communist sympathizers. And the man has never seem atax he doesn't like.

He must be. He is the best canadate they could find to run for the presidency that the majority of the Republicans have voted for in the primary. IF he doesn’t than who does?

Romney represents what the Republican Party has become as a result of being hijacked by the former 'Leftist/Trotskyite' Neocons. As a result, he represents not only everything that is wrong with the current GOP, but also the nation as a whole (since the support for Obama from the 'Left' Democrats shows they are as hideous and hypocritical as the Neocons). What any informed person should know by now is there is fundamentally NO difference in the two parties any longer. We have now had 8 years of the Neocon Bush/Cheney regime, and are coming up on 4 years of the Obama regime. Anyone who cannot see - at this late date - (because of either simple denial or simple stupidity) that BOTH parties have run us into the ground, and that a vote for either Obama or Romney is a vote to continue the rot and destruction, DESERVES the rot and destruction.

I think Mitt Romney is the epitome of the republican party..., the only problem is, Mitt is like the old lady that didn't pull her petty coat up high enough. In other words Mitt reveals the republicans undercoat and the GOP don't like that.

Mitt says all the stupid things the GOP thinks but are to crafty to say out loud.., and it's not that Mitt is that crafty.., he just do not know any better. If Mitt was in touch with what it means to be poor or without.., he would make an excellent president. Mitt is a good person to have on your team...,if you are someone he can relate too. Problem is 90% of the American people Mitt cannot relate too.., hence the GOP..

    Mitt....GREAT GOP REPRESENTATIVE.....!!!!! JOMO

When did being rich become a crime in America? If anyone works hard with a determination and stop depending on the fat cats in our government, they are free to become rich. But who, wants to work hard just to hand it out to those that does nothing but complain, they are poor and needs, giveme, I deserve it attitude. SICKO'S....They don't belong in our country.
    Ship them all out!

He's a moderate, controlled by the GOP establishment. He is still a billion times better for this country than President Pookie, the amateur who hates this country like his alcoholic, philandering socialist Kenyan paternal father. Peewee Herman has more business sense than Erkel Obama. Of course Moocher Michelle and Valerie Garrett control Barry. What a man!

He's a follower and not a leader. Romney's recent "conversion" to far right politics is merely a strategy to get the Tea Party base to support him. His goal is to win since he hads no real core ideology other than making money. In another place or time he would have veered to the left in order to curry favor with prevailing political trends.

He's an elitist, out-of-touch spoilt rich-kid who is used to having his own way. He has no idea how to empathise with the average person struggling to put food on the family table. He's the next member of a club that includes John McCain and George H W Bush - Republicans who have lost Presidential elections.

Hardly. For example, I'm not opposed to paying a little more to help cover someone with a preexisting condition. Nor am I against paying more to help finance public health, education, and environmental safety. The GOP should rename itself the Me Me Me Party.
  • Paige Rich 2012/05/17 23:59:02 (edited)
    Paige
Again, I think you are describing the Democratic Party, they are the ones that are all about entitlements.
  • Rich Paige 2012/05/18 01:04:16
    Rich
The term "entitlement" is a misnomer. Yes, Democrats support programs such as Social Security and Medicare, but we also pay into them. It's not like we're asking to get something for nothing.
  • Paige Rich 2012/05/19 13:56:16
    Paige
but you do ask for something for nothing, Food stamps, cash assistance, you keep forgetting that. We don't pay into that for future use by us, we pay extra taxes for it. Besides social security and medicare of which we pay into for US, was suppose to be put into a LOCK BOX, but the Government spent it, now our social security and medicare have to be borrowed from China.
  • Rich Paige 2012/05/19 16:14:12
    Rich
If someone is laid off, do you oppose helping them out? Most people are not collecting welfare by choice and would much prefer a decent-paying job.
Interesting that you bring up the lock box. I remember how right-wingers ridiculed Al Gore for this suggestion in the 2000 campaign. In fact, while we do borrow from SS (not Medicare; I don't think there is a Medicare trust fund), it's done through Treasury Bills backed by the full faith and credit of the US. We've never defaulted on one yet, though the Tea Party cost us out triple A credit rating.
  • Paige Rich 2012/05/20 15:22:06

I use to work for an agency that would "help" people find jobs and it was through the Private Industry Council. It wasn't through the state at all. We did classes on resumes, job searching etc. I would help low income and people on unemployment find a job or another job, job training or classes for GED or grants to go to college. So NO I am not oppose to helping anyone find a job, but you can bet your dollars the people on welfare are collecting cash and food stamps by choice. When you have 48 per cent that do not pay taxes and 46 million on food stamps there is a problem. Also the jump in SSI has gone up since people have run out of unemployment. Check your facts on the tea party, they are not to blame for the triple A credit rating. I don't think there is a tea party for let me see it is France and Austria that lost theirs? You need to get a clue.
  • Rich Paige 2012/05/20 16:20:23
    Rich
Your statement is about paying taxes is factually incorrect. What you should have said is that 48% do not pay INCOME taxes. The poor pay a disproportionate share of sales and FICA taxes. You don't have to take my word for it as to why our credit rating dropped. When S&P lowered our rating, they cited the debt ceiling fight as the reason. There is not a doubt in my mind that, had it not been for the Tea Party's take no prisoners approach and unwillingness to compromise, that stand-off never would have reached crisis proportions. I'm not even sure there would have been a stand-off. The Tea Party is in my humble opinion the most destructive force of its size to hit the US since the KKK in its heyday. You're the one who needs to get a clue. I have not a drop of respect for those selfish, racist SOB's.
  • Paige Rich 2012/05/20 23:20:14
    Paige
I give up, you calling people racists is just plain wrong on so many levels. I thought we were all over that with the last election, considering so many "white people" voted for a dumbass. You want to nick pick, you go ahead. The tea party and comparing them to the KKK is just so wrong and you know it. You should be ashamed of yourself. I would like to know who exactly is the racist here, because I am not, nor am I a tea party member, but I am an American that has seen this country being transformed right before our eyes in the last three years, and "he" stated that he was going to do that and we are headed for real destruction in this country with the present administration. I am not so sure ANYONE can fix what is broken, it will take years to get back what our nation has lost.
  • Rich Paige 2012/05/21 01:41:28
    Rich
I'm not saying all Tea Party members are racists, but it's clear a disproportionate share are.
    Check out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?...
You also need a lesson in the English language. When I call the Tea Party the most destructive force of its size since the KKK, the clear implication is that the KKK was worse.
As for your calling the President a dumbass, let's consider that comment. He was raised in poverty, was accepted into arguably the best university in the country, was the first black editor of the student newspaper, and lectured on constitutional law at another first rate school. And you call him a dumbass? You may or may not be a racist, but you have shown yourself to be utterly ineducable. We're done.
