Well your better off than I am. I am profoundly deaf in both ears and will have a cocklear implant soon. My daughter lives in Texas so I know tough. She gets it from me except we are both marshmallows when it comes to animals. I have my 7 cats,one dog and 2 horses and I love them all. They are far better than some humans. A high IQ does not mean much to me. I have two stepsons that have very high I.Q's but can't function in everyday life.

my dogs ride with me for ages.. and will never do anything until we stop for a walk.. just like people, they have control.. so I don't believe that Mitts dog did either.. As far as I am concerned it is much more humane to take the beloved dog with them on trips than leave him in a kennel with strangers. And certainly more humane than eating him.
