No, i dont think romney being a mormon will hurt his chances anymore than Obama being called a muslim sometimes, and sometimes hes called a christian! i dont think it makes too much of a difference. if anything, i think it helps his chances by him staying consistant, but then.....playing all the sides of the field might also help?!?! thats why they have "polls", but finding the "accurate" polls is really key.

I think it will. Many people (including myself) have some concerns regarding Mormonism. Obama is not a Muslim (this is an answer to a post I saw regarding this matter).

Considering the fact that we have had a little of everything serve as President, and the fact that we now have a Muslim as President...what is wrong with a Morman, Jew, Babtist, JW, ......anyone, or anything.....it can ONLY get better...can't get any worse than what we have now..

It should not matter. Anyone that does not vote for Mitt and instead votes for Obama, when Obama attended a racist church for 20 years has lost their damn mind

Doesn't matter to the right. Being Mormon is nothing compared to what they think of Barry's faith.

Doesn't matter to the left. They wouldn't vote for any one of faith.

Doesnt matter to Independents. They don't have strong opinions.

trying to use Romney's religion against him would be a losing proposition, so it will not be overtly mentioned- it will be left to the voter's conscience to decide. This is a similar situation to Obama's skin color- it's not mentioned but reality is that some people did not/will not vote for him based on his race.

Considering he's running against a Muslim, he may have an advantage.

Some may try to make a deal out of it, but only to distract voters from DOJ antics, our still-weak economy and global standing / status under Obama's leadership-from-behind.

I only think it is a big issue to people that look for any reason to hate him and wouldn't have voted for him anyway.
