No, not at all. It's just that disagree with democrats who project their anger onto others claiming the dems are angry.

    Petty moves by desperate people.

How can one walk around with the attitude that they are not only the most intelligent people on the planet and therefore always know what's best for you, but by god they are better than God, so how can any good Liberal worth their weight in government funding not be pissed when there are still people blind to their greatness and willing to take their chances and go it on their own? How dare anyone stand on their own two feet and do those things for themselves that the Liberal should surely be worrying about for them. Ungrateful bastards.

Well we have lots to be "mad about". Republicans took over the entire government in 2001 and what did they do? Practiced socialism for the rich which:
    1. Unbalanced the federal budget and has given us deficits ever since,
    2. Ran two wars off budget. So much for fiscal responsibility
    3. Told lies often enough that many believed them.
    4. Opposed various programs even when they were previously supported by republicans.
The list goes on but the fact remains that the republicans are the cause for the majority of our problems today. Damn right I am angry at them.

So, your solution to an unbalanced federal budget is to have no budget at all? Pass spending bills with no oversight in lieu of letting the people know where that money if going?
Do you know where that got us? It got us to the point that every year since obama took office the national debt has increased more than cost of both the wars in Iraq AND Afghanistan OVER THE COURSE OF 11 YEARS.

    How is that better?
  • ehrhornp keymanjim 2012/06/18 01:17:34

My solution is to do what worked in the past. Government steps in to spend spend and spend some more until there is enough money in the system that private industry can take over. That has worked. Voodoo has not.

I don't care where the debt is today. What I care about is why did we get here? Answer is simple. The theft of the 2000 election by republicans who practiced socialism for the rich which then collapsed the economy. Nice going phony conservatives, showed where you really stand on fiscal responsibility.

It is insanity to try to balance the budget during economic bad times. Stop making things worse.

    Oh dear lord.

Okay, the government spends like crazy. Where does that money come from? Every dollar that the government spends come from some citizen that has worked hard to earn it. At one point that citizen feels that they will be just as well off if they avail themselves of any, or several, of the entitlement programs. After that, the system folds under the weight of leeches outnumbering the providers.
    Then, we are nothing.

Just as matter of education, the Bush/Gore election was not stolen. It was upheld against the numerous recounts against the Florida election laws.

Where did the money come from when we bombed two countries that we were not at war with? It is good that you are concerned about government spending but lets be real. This country wastes tons of money by going to wars based upon lies and supporting a military and prison industrial complexes second to none. So are you proud of the fact that your tax dollars under Bush primarily went to make pot holes around the world? I am not.

You might feel that the 2000 election was not stolen but anyone who bothers to look into it can see it was. Hope you enjoyed your winner. lol Mitt would probably make GW look intelligent.

Actually, we were at war with them. Afghanistan was harboring alqueda who flew planes into the World trade Center (remember that?) and saddam wasn't upholding his end of the cease fire agreement.

The 2000 election wasn't stolen because gore wasn't allowed to steal it. Every recount came out in favor of Bush. And we did quite well under him until the democrats took over congress and tried to "fix" things. Now look at where thy put us.
  • ehrhornp keymanjim 2012/06/18 17:10:42

Show me the declaration of war by congress please. Hint, there is none. Last declared war was WWII so technically if one follows the constitution we were not at war.

You do remember that most of those hijackers were Saudi don't you? Or that perhaps Bin Laden could have been brought to trial but GW didn't want to negotiate on that probably because he didn't have any proof that Bin was behind it.

The 2000 election was stolen, by 5 supreme court justices. Why do you think two justices have since left? How often have the justices made specific comments saying that their decision cannot be used in any other future case? This was a black day for America as our freedom was being killed. Shame you cannot handle freedom but need to be led.

    And here:

The supreme court upheld a lower court ruling that the continual recounts brought by the loser, algore, were against the Florida election laws.

lol, more links showing corruption. I prefer the truth which is available on Consortium news. org. You can tell it was a crappy opinion as the supreme court said it was.
