Does history spell trouble for Obama?
President Carter once stated that no president with a Misery index above 12% deserved to hold the office.
So with the misery index currently slightly below 11% unless it falls drastically between now and the election, Obama is in for a rocky road. During his term, the misery index went from 7.83% to 12.87%
