Ok....I wouldn't call it 'goofing off', per se, I would call it more of a timeout to get your head together. Sometimes you just need to take a minute, or 25, to get beck into the groove of things. I work in a hospital with a lot of patients who can sometimes be extrmemly overbearing and in order to deal with each one just as pleasant as the last. Personally, I spend about the least time at my job as any of my coworkers and I am by far the most efficient and professional of all :oP.....no, really!

When I worked, we goofed around a lot, but we also worked at the same time. We were inside sales people so joking with the customers was a good thing. We also found out our work day was more productive when we "drank" our lunch. (this was a 'few' years back when drinking & driving was safe). We had more positive sales results than on other days. I promise, this is a true statement. Again I'm talking back in late 80's & 90's.
