more americans than everbefore are on some type of assistance ...

I too am ...not wanting to ...but we have to survive .....!

the only difference now & the great depression ,is the we have a safety nets is place ( UNEMP. food stamps , medicade )

or there would more in the street ....

now the factions want & need the people dependent on govt ..keeps the voter base quite large !

the repubs want a large labor pool ( and low wages "keeps corps "profits high )

and the dems dont know how to help create jobs in the private sector "minght I add obama said the private sector is just fine "and a week earlier he said the middle class need the most help ))!!

he should be on the FOOD STAMP cards, and he should probably go down in the dictionary as the visual aide for the word fraud, fail, liar, arrogant prick, invalid, unprecedented, contradiction, Constitutional Enemy, debt, loser, and Im sure I could think of a whole bunch more

wait, why not let him get assassinated, All I am saying is he was planning his own assassination staged attempt, then he can be remembered legitimately as Americas Welfare President, and heres something, for those that will think highly of him once he is removed they can have a great legacy to remember him by, the President that had nearly half the nation on Food Stamps. At least on person in 49% of households in America is on Government Benefits of some sort, most likely Foodstamps and Welfare

I actually think his image on food stamp coupons would help him politically. The only ones who see them are the ones using them and the ones redeeming them. The ones redeeming them already know where they come from and the ones using them are reminded constantly who their massah is.

With 0bama wanting to continually increase the size of government bureaucracy, despite the enormously expanded size of the food stamp program, the size of the oversight field officer department has not grown.

That means that there is more corruption and scamming going on with participants. In fact, the lack of oversight encourages food stamp fraud.

In my opinion, that's a part of the 0bama plan.

No. No presidential image should be present since having to issue food stamps is program to support those in serious need of financial assistance in order for them to eat. Food stamps are not a political advertising medium.

But they no longer give out "food stamps" they have Debit style cards, called SNAP cards.

So unless you know what those cards look like, they just blend in, it was supposed to take the theft out of they system and not "embarrass" the user of the card.

i WISH they would hand out the stamps again, and put obies face on them, since he DOES now have 1 out of 7 Americans on them.

And public humiliation is a GREAT motivator to get a job, and support your own family.
