Does Barack Obama insult voter intelligence, by assuming they are dumb enough to vote for him again, even after they've seen firsthand for 4 years that his 2008 promises were bullcrap?

Obama has little respect for American taxpayers, and he shows that in not so subtle ways. Plus, he lies more than any recent president.

Yes and No. 0bama insults the voter intelligence of some of the people. He is not going to get majority of the vote. But he correctly assessed the intelligence of hard core union members and other die hard democrats who will vote for him no matter what. He and his people are working overtime to split opposition by persuading large part of his opponents to vote third party or write in. The obamistas count on Ron Paul supporters to vote against republican nominee. They are all over media and internet insisting that vote for Romney is vote for obama, which does not make any sense but the Paulistas buy that argument. So clearly obama correctly estimates their intelligence as that of a potato.

He did it back in 2008, because he knew as the Chicago thug he is, and with his underground ties, that money could make the most of his campaigning. He used every trick in the book to get people to love him , and not just because he is a black man. He was trained well and how to speak fluently like a politician will, to make promises that he couldn't keep. I know they all do that, make profound promises, and very few are kept, but he didn't bother to even keep one promise. obama the unbroken promises obama the unbroken promises

Obama's attitude is the same as Stalin's. It's not who votes, but who counts the votes that counts.

I am more optimistic and estimate some 47% voters are chronicaly stupid and will vote democrat no matter if the guy is really a democrat or a communist pretending to be democrat.
That is why he needs support of illegals, dead people and for the opposition to split and have some of them vote third party. Make no mistake his core supporters will vote for him no matter what. All he needs to do is to get some 3% to 5% to vote for candidates other than republican and he has four more years to transform the country into what he thinks it ought to be and this time he will not be constrained by the reelection concerns so he will pull all the stops.

The truth is that Americans don't want the PPACA because they have bought the right wing propaganda and lies about it. The insurance industry has spend $250 millions on misinformation and distortions about the law in the last three years. "Death panels", "micro chipping of humans" and "rationed care" are but a few of those lies and distortions.

What is the alternative to the PPACA? The Republicans did NOTHING to address the ever increasing costs of health care in this country. They passed the unfunded mandate of Medicare Part D, but they left a huge donut hole in drug coverage that would burden seniors to pay out of pocket expenses for prescriptions. The PPACA closes that donut hole of coverage.

BTW, the main portion of the PPACA does not take effect until 2014, and the penalties for non-compliance don't kick in until 2015.

The reality is that most Americans don't want to go back to the same Republican policies of the 2000's of tax cuts for the rich, deregulation of financial products, and opening the door to the big banks to engage in predatory lending. They also don't want the Republicans to turn Medicare into a voucher system, handing Medicare over to private insurance companies.

The public sector and welfare state are approaching 50% of the population...his policies to spend on the public sector and transferring the wealth to them is working and will allow a good chance to win...the real producers and contributors to Americas greatness are leaving ...no intelligent individual would ever want to live under this Communism...having escaped from Communism I see the corruption and fraud in the entire massively bloated public sector with its 50% over staffing, 40% over compensation and millionaire pensions ...this is destroying America ...yet you will never get these beneficiaries (the politicians) ever to implement the necessary reform and restructuring...that includes both parties...this scam has reached epidemic levels ...over $7 Trillion is spend annually in the public sector ...cannot be maintained ...just look at the rate of the debt increase and the trillions their pension scam is costing and it is under funded by over $3 Trillion ...wake up ...but too many Americans are on the take and most of the others are too stupid to see the fraud...like Lobsters in a Kettle of water ...won't notice til its too late...

He uses sneaky terms like "Fundamental Change" and he and Biden go around saying @#$%&*+! like "We created 4.3 million jobs," when all that happened was 4.3 million job assignments were given out during their time in office. Like my Phase 1 and Phase 3 Census jobs (2 temp part-time jobs for 1 person, me), and 30 store review assignments for the USDA, all of which I completed within a week. 32 jobs for 1 person.
