It takes a minimum of two years in office to begin to make a real difference. Americans are used to a 30 minute sitcoms - 10 minutes of commercials and all the action in the remaining 20, beginning, middle and end. Wall Street is focused on quarterly reports, not yearly or longer (like Warren Buffet). President Obama has been victimized by this short attention span. But time will prove him capable of good execution of his presidential duties.

Lets face it, it doesn't matter what party a politician belongs to, if they are bad they are just plain bad. Bush was a disaster, Carter was a disaster and Clinton was a complete joke who made a mockery of the presidency. The U.S. Presidency is probably the most demanding job in the world. President Obama inherited an economy on the brink of collapse, 2 complicated wars and a war-weary netion, a lot of other difficult heads of state and an obstructionist opposition party. I think he and his staff are doing a great job.

He didn't last a full term as a senator. Not only is he President, But his party has overwhelming majorities in BOTH houses of Congress, and can pass ANYTHING they want - and he can't get anything through. Be serious. He's going to keep Carter from being ranked the worst President in History.
