Does Anyone Know why Congress's "Investigation" into Fast and Furious Only Focuses on Eric Holder?

The ATF began Project Gunrunner as a pilot project in Laredo, Texas, in 2005 and expanded it as a national initiative in 2006.
In early 2011, the operation became controversial when it was revealed that Operation fast and Furious, and other probes under Project Gunrunner, had allowed guns to "walk" into the hands of Mexican drug cartels since as early as 2006.
This so called "investigation" is nothing but a political witch hunt, and total sham. Would a serious investigation completely ignore any, and everyone, involved in the formation of the program? No one from the Bush administration has been questioned, or called to testify. No one from the AZ or Texas bureaus of the ATF, no Michael Mukasey, no Alberto Gonzalez, in short, no Republicans.
Shouldn't the RWNJs in congress at least put up the facade of a serious investigation before pushing the unprecedented nuclear button of holding an AG in contempt of congress? They will stoop to any level to win the election.

There is little difference between this process and the process that was used in questioning Oliver North about the Iran Contra scandal.
Obviously they are giving Obama a free pass by only going after Holder.
No matter how many times the Dem's try to say "Fast & Furious" began under Bush.... that is just a complete lie and an attempt to once again.... blame Bush.
The previous program was known as "Wide Receiver" were the guns were RFID chipped and tracked. The Mexican govt. was fully aware of the program and it was stopped immediately when they lost track of a few of the weapons.
The dealers who were tasked with embedding the chips into inconspicuous places had damaged a few, rendering them useless for tracking purposes.

Holder is the head of the Justice Department, it's his responsibility to take responsibility for his department and any operation in it. That's how it works in any leadership position....i don't know usually doesn't fly in any inquiry....
