Does a West Virginia win mean Hillary Clinton still has a chance as Democratic nominee?

SodaHead Politics 2008/05/13 18:44:34
Yes; It proves that Hillary Clinton has the working-class vote leading to higher "electability."
No; Barack Obama still has a better chance of winning in November.
I'm unsure because . . .

West Virginia is said to be held by Hillary Clinton supporters. If this is the case, does Hillary still have a chance to stay in the race. Or should she give up and give Barack Obama more time to campaign against John McCain?

I am for Hillary,I dont understand this delegate stuff.I think the whole ought to be heard not just a few from different states. You go by what the people want ,its Hillary.I think she would be best for the job.I think 3/4 of the people thinks so.Black & White, Spanish. My opinion Obama has no experience ,think our country will go further under.People better think.

Of course she still has a chance. it's not over until the convention. If she doesn't get the nomination, it will be over for the Democratic party this go round as too many Hillary supporters will favor McCain over Obama.

Hillary is a fighter and has been mistreated by Obama camp not only that I do not appreciate being called an uneducated or poor and then picking on the Latino's as Obama camp has said ...I 'll have fun watching Obama lose he is under qualified to Run this Country and besides why isn't he being indicted along with Rezko since Obama was his top advisor..I dislike what the Media has done to Hillary plus the Media waiting till last moment to pull anything out on Obama was that a coverup by Oprah as she had her school in Africa coverup for the abuse that was going on in it..

But she will not be nominated. The media made the choice and has swayed many of the country. I resented when the media began by saying that Sen. Clinton was dividing the party. I don't see it that way. I see that she is allowing the country with each state to have their voice. The delagates have divided the party, because they aren't taking note that this is too close a race and that the country is still left in the middle of their sentence. They are choosing a candadite they believe can beat McCain, but can he lead a country? I now neither have faith in some of the Democratic deligates nor do I believe in the Democratic party. If anyone divided the party, it is those who were so quick to be mesmerized. But then again the party has often been accused of not having a back bone.

Hillary was expected to win well before this began, and yes Obama has done better than expected, but Hillary was believed to be the winner for a reason. The superdelegates at this point in time should step in and insure the better canidate wins for the good of our nation and that is Hillary as expected.

Clinton is behind in the vote -- but this race is not decided by the popular vote, but by DELEGATES; read the rules. Both Clintons are dishonest and demagogues; the have been attacking OBAMA unfairly with appeals to racism but have the nerve to accuse HIM of it. Just think: how can a black man in 2008 America be racist toward white America and yet have the best educated people in the country vote for him? Most of his votes are from WHITE people, not blacks. Are you saying that more than 17 million mostly white, and educated are stupid? I don't think so!
