I do not worry about it because I cannot stop it. In addition death is a needed deadline. Without it I think people would do much less with their lives.

So before a week or so ago I never really thought about it, and for the past week it has been hard to get out of my head. I am only 21, and there is no event that suddenly brought this upon me. I just am a person who tries to reason everything out in there head, and this is just something that cannot be reasoned, thus making me stuck.

I do not want to get into a strong religion debate, because until this point I have pretty much just followed the motions, never really knowing what I truly believe, and I am still unsure. I don't believe in any single exact faith mostly because I feel they are too well defined, exact set of steps and beliefs people should use in their daily life. I do feel that there is something after life, but that it can be completely open to an endless world of possibilities.

People are good at one thing, that is taking what they have learned in the past, and applying it to the future. This is true of how we live our lives everyday. However, our weakness is when it comes to what we don't know about the past, which is where dying comes into play. No one has died before, obviously, and no one can read up on people who have died before, thus the human instinct has kicked in to try and figure out what possibly happens, hence religion.

So before a week or so ago I never really thought about it, and for the past week it has been hard to get out of my head. I am only 21, and there is no event that suddenly brought this upon me.

The thing that most worries me about death is not the fact that I may be dead, but the fact that I am unsure if I will ever have any communication with someone not dead again, even in the afterlife. This doesn't mean that I will speak to people living obviously, but will I be able to know how the world is functioning. Today I could pick up a paper and know the latest scientific discoveries, and I just hope that I can know how the world functions after life, and that it is not some completely separate world.

I don't want to make it seem that I am worrying all the time, this is just the first time I have truly sat down and thought about it. After all, science says that there were 14 billion years gone by in the universe before a single one of us was born, and even if it was far less, say 10,000, not a single one of us knew about it, and we are all living today fine with that fact, so I am sure that we will be fine again after life, and I am living every day as much as I can without getting bogged down too much on the topic.

Like I said I am a very scientific type, think it out person, but this is the one area I don't see science ever really cracking, and the one area that I really doubt science can explain the past. It is no different than religion in this aspect, where we believe there is a beginning, thus we estimate when it happened, and begin our story from there, and no matter what scientists say they can never explain what happens before the start, which religion is able to accomplish.

I also have a strong belief I will be able to put my worries away completely once I have children, that I can witness being healthy and grown up to support themselves, knowing I have helped this process of life continue in my own little part, and that there exist people on earth that must remember me.

Sorry this is a little long, but finally putting my thoughts down, as random as they may be, has helped and feels good.

If we spend all of our time thinking about dieing, we have less time to think about living.

It's the thought Of what happens after you die that worries me. I mean when we die do we know we're die. Do we still get to see our love ones, stuff like that.

However, I am concerned with how I die. No long expensive, drawn out illnesses for me if I have anything to say about it. Keep me comfortable, and allow nature and God to take course

Every day. Not my death though.
I'm terrified of losing the people I care about.
Mainly because I don't live anywhere near them.
When I don't hear from them, I start to worry.
Then I see massive amounts of apocalyptic scenarios in my imagination.
    I don't know. I'm paranoid like that.

I am potentially a bit concerned over the possibility of a painful death, as God has not promised me a joyful death, but He has promised me eternity with Him thru my relationship with Jesus- so in the finalality of death, personally, no fear!
