Do you want to sign the petition to pardon U.S. Border Patrol agent Diaz and grant restitution for gross miscarriage of justice in the performance of duty to protect America from the illegal alien invasion?

Signed it. Yet, I don't believe it is an invasion when you're invited to do low-wage service jobs that Americans won't do. By way of example, Nanny.

A foreigner who sneaks into our country like a Japanese ninja to plunder and pillage it is an invader, no matter how you try to excuse it.

Further, there are NO jobs Americans won't do if paid at least the Minimum wage required by law. Further, most illegals do skilled blue-collar type jobs often paying more than most college grad teachers get.

For example, I know an illegal making over $2,000 a week at an auto upholstery shop. That's over 100K yearly! How many of our college-grad teachers earn that much? Most Americans DON'T.

And he told me he sends almost 90 percent of his paycheck home to his family in Mexico City, while living here with a "girlfriend" collecting welfare and food stamps.
Plus, he conserves his paycheck further by getting "free" food, clothing, etc. from taxpayer-funded agencies and church donations intended for our own needy people.

He even got one taxpayer-funded Latin Community group to pay for his CELLPHONE! So he can stay in touch with his family.

The illegal alien's name is Ruben. And that car upholstery shop has a "phantom workforce" to supplement its legally employed workforce, which is all they report for tax purposes. Ruben's brother also works there.

Here's how he gets paid: If the shop charges a customer $1500 to re-upholster car seats, and it only take...

Here's how he gets paid: If the shop charges a customer $1500 to re-upholster car seats, and it only takes Ruben 3 hours to do it, he gets HALF. So he gets paid about $250 per hour. And both Ruben and the shop are quite happy with their arrangement.

I reported it, giving the name and location of the shop, to my Democrat federal senator's office, asking them to investigate and prosecute. But they ignored my request... which is typical of most Democrats and many Republicans in Congress. For they are deliberately turning a blind eye to it.

This is far from an isolated example. Illegals are not only stealing high-paying skilled blue-collar type jobs, but also many illegals own their own businesses [construction, home improvement, landscaping, auto repair, roofing, paving, janitorial services, housekeeping, etc., etc.].

Next time you're in Home Depot or Lowes, look for illegals there getting supplies for their plumbing jobs, etc.

I have a friend who tried starting a janitorial services business. But he gave up after a few months, telling me he couldn't compete with illegals paying their illegal employees $3 an hour.

Another illegal near me was selling used cars with open titles, parking them at a shopping center with "for sale" signs on anywhere from one to three cars at a time. And he was selling them quickly. Every week I saw different cars. But I reported it to my state's motor vehicle department, and about a month later they towed his cars away and warned the shopping center to not let anyone sell cars there.

Virtually all of them send money to their families in Mexico, etc. That's why it's important to stop them from sucking the lifeblood out of our country's economy, and replace them with our own people, who will spend their paychecks right here in the good ol' US of A.

You make valid points, but Ruben was invited here. Sorry for the Hurricane Katrina reference here, but it was the FEMA contractors who invited the Mexicans to New Orleans to clean up the place at the same time FEMA was relocating the black people to other parts of America. Now, FEMA is gone but the Mexicans are still there. This is what ALL government contractors do. And who hired these government contractors? The US Congress. They created this problem. Yay or nay?

A few, but not most. In fact, thanks to Obama handing out 800,000 more work permits to illegals last month [in addition to 300,000 last year], plus offering amnesty for a relatively small $465 processing fee starting next week, now the illegals will again come here in droves. Obama has even promised LaRaza to give them college at taxpayer expense next [a.k.a. the "Dream Act"] if he gets a 2nd term!

In Mexico no doubt there'd be scenarios like this:

"Jose, did you hear what those crazy gringos did?"

    "No, Juan. Whassup?"

"They just passed a law that lets our kids go to college. All we gotta do is sneak across the border taking our kids along."

"Madre de Dios! What makes gringos so loco? ... [hollers out] Rosita! Pack our things pronto. We're taking our muchachos to L.A. so they can go to college to be lawyers!"

The Internal Affairs Division at U.S. Customs and Border Protection ruled differently nearly a year later and, ultimately, the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Western District of Texas brought charges.

Police should be held to a higher authority than others, that is the nature of the beast. Seems harsh, I agree, but they must have felt it was valid.

i would prefer links that have some credence, single source information is likely flawed, and blogs notoriously are. You can bumrap Obama all you wish, but in order for me to be swayed, I must have good information, not just hate mail. In addition, I think it is unlikely that the administration had much influence these organizations in pursuing this course. Perhaps so, but without facts, you are merely making assumptions too.
