"I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around [the banks] will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs." - Thomas Jefferson
"History records that the money changers have used
every form of abuse, intrigue, deceit, and violent means possible
to maintain their control over governments
by controlling the money and its issuance." - James Madison
This has come true and is the root cause of many major problems. .
The people I'm ever going to deal with in the govt. are fairly low level public servants. Most of those people are just trying to get through the day and do the best job they can. They are not out to screw me. I have no reason to think otherwise.
these choices here could be taken as unpatriotic comments ,,
when the opposite is true ,,
many folks have extremem allegance to flag / country / const. but no trust & faith in the folks in washington , ME INCLUDED !
with the direction of current factions & decisions reciently why would we ?
in the past 100 yrs the factions have driven this country to ruins ...borrowed on out 5th generation from now ,and think nothing of it !
reciently have been attempting on abolishing the const , ( and have no respect for it either ) the majority of common sense folks see this, but can do nothing about it @
and think that the orders of the UN superceed the congress !
Dont have to prove anything He`s proving it himself , He isn`t worthy of the position he`s holding, 68% of the nation say`s we`re going in the wrong direction. Dont need no court to prove that ,He`s a loser. THATS A FACT
I may not trust the government, but I do obey the laws of the land. I will not participate in a revolution to overthrow the government, or attempts by people to get their way by breaking laws.
The Constitution gives you every right to participate in a revolution should we the people see it fit. Just so you know. I hear ya though, I'd rather split the Country into two halves before Civil War.
No, not even if it's peaceful. Revolution is the deposing of the existing establishment or government & the destruction of divine institutions (volition, national entity, marriage, family). The intent to overthrow one's own government either through plots and intrigue or by force of arms, including paramilitary activity, constitutes evil and is always contrary to divine will. Fomenting revolution leads to senseless mob violence & the lawless usurping of power. So, whatever is gained in revolution could have been accomplished without revolution, & the end never justifies the means.
You see, problems requiring divine establishment solutions can never be solved by violating divine establishment principles. Free speech, yes. Voting, yes. Revolution, no.
What if we no longer have free speech? What if we no longer have the right to vote? What then? I'm sure you can see it, Congress and the White House are selling us down the river and we've be extremely tolerant. Give them an inch, they take a mile.
I'm a Christian, so I have to go by the Bible and what God says on the subject. The government is not the problem, anyway, they're just a symptom. The biggest problem the USA has is rejection of Jesus Christ, Christians and unbelievers alike. If you look at every country that was a client nation (those with strong presence of Christians), they declined in direct relationship to the apostasy of the Church.
I'm a Christian also, and I believe we Americans are given Un-alienable rights endowed by our Creator as outlined in the U.S. Constitution. One of those rights is the right to revolt. I'm sure God wouldn't want us to sit idly by and shrug our shoulders.
"All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing."
As I stated, the PROBLEM with America is that BOTH Christians and unbelievers have rejected Jesus Christ. The Christians through moral degeneracy & the unbelievers through immoral degeneracy. The problem is NOT the evil government, gays, racism, the rich, the poor, as these are only symptoms. You & yours are wanting to give medicine to & put band-aids on symptoms, but refuse to see, or do anything about, the actual problem.
You see, Christians will use man's words, "All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing," rather than God's Word, "Act as free men, and do not use your freedom as a covering for evil, but use it as bondslaves of God" I Pet. 2:16.
Try this on: "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge [of doctrine]. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being My priest [client nation (America)]. Since you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children." Hosea 4:6
God disciplines His people when they begin rejecting His Word, & there are 5 cycles of discipline outlined in the Bible. We are ending the 3rd cycle & beginning the 4th. The 5th cycle involves destruction of the nation due to maximum rejection of biblical principles.
