No more then I trust the rest of our government anymore. They have all become a bunch of self centered ideologues hell bent on proving their point and getting rich while doing it.

    The majority:

    - are tax cheats
    - have little to no business experience
    - have socialist/marxist leanings (if they aren't outright socialists/marxists)
    - would prefer to lie rather than tell the truth
    - have little to no respect for America and/or American values
    - would rather place blame on someone else instead of taking responsibility for their own actions

and that's just a start for all the things wrong with Obama and this administration.

How can I put trust in that?

I said it at the beginning of the Republican caucus, that I would vote for the best man for the job, the republicans spent so much time explaining to us why all the other candidates standing up there sucked, so that by the end of the caucus we knew it could not be any of those douche bags nominated. Obama is not perfect but turns out He's the best man for the job!! As can be witnessed now things are getting better.

The Republican cadidates explained clearly over and over why the other candidates were the wrong choice for the republican nomination. The argument became, I'm more conservative than the other guy, thats what hurt them..in America today you cannot be too liberal or too conservative or you will lose elections.

No I am not. Whether I believe that Obama was actually born in the US or not is not the issue. It was a little joke. Obviously you and that other guy have no sense of humor.

I have a great sense of humor when I see it and I didn't see it in your comment. I believe you meant it and not as humor. Believing the worst even though had there been any real evidence President Obama wouldn't be president today. Even I would not have voted for him had he been born in Kenya. The Birther queen Orly Taitz put up a false birth cert. of Obama being born in a city in Kenya but it was quickly proven to be a fake by the leader of Kenya since that city in that year was not apart of Kenya at that time since Kenya didn't become a republic until 1964 and Obama was born in 1961. You would think anyone putting out a false BC would at least do a small amount of research into something that is so easily checked out. Again my favorite saying come into play here, "no use being stupid if you don't show it" and she showed it.

Well I sure as hell won't listen to the tea party. I've listened to them all. MSNBC, Fox, CNN, ABC, and NBC. I refuse to listen to talk radio because it dumbs people down too much. So tell me who am I suppose to listen to?

I understand your feelings about talk radio. I hear that. But the thing about it is this I find is that it is full of surprises that your not getting from the main media sources. And when you go to check them out; you discover it's true. Talk radio dumbs people down only so much to the fact that it says you owe it to yourself to chef things out. And it not that the main media is lying. It's just not telling you things you deserve to know as a conscientious voter capable of critical thinking is all.

Talk radio is for those who want to hear what they already believe to be true the same goes for tv. We all go to where they say what we want to hear. I don't believe in what Sean Hannity says but I believe he believes what he's saying. On the other hand Limbaugh is someone who says what he believes people want to hear all for the money. I'm not saying Limbaugh isn't a right winger but his biggest motivation is his bank account. I am not a follower of anyone but like everyone I will listen to those who more closely say what I already believe. It's called being human. Our brains are wired differently (liberals and conservatives) with slight variations to each. I was very conservative in my younger days then became more of a moderate and now I'm moving to the progressive side and wondering how I was ever so conservative. I guess some people evolve and some stay constant. I got to experience 3 different ways of thinking so I know how and why conservatives think as they do because I use to think like them but now i see there are ideas and other ways of thinking beyond conservatism. I don't know if that's a good thing or not. I consider it a good thing because more is better when it comes to ways of seeing everything.

I don't take anyone at their word. I am very opened minded and I listen. I believe that actions always speak louder than words. I can either believe or not believe what someone says. What I need to do is go find out the truth by the actions that the host of the show is referring to. I tend to believe more of what I see than what I hear. But I look at it like this. Hannity, Limbaugh, Beck, have been around for by far to many years. If their stories were all lies all the time they would not have a following and would be out of business. As for me; I use to be a Democrat and now am a conservative.

I have a tendency not to put my trust in people who couldn't pass college courses as Limbaugh's mother said of him, "Rush dropped out of college because he was failing every course he was taking'. Neither Beck nor Hannity has a college degree what they are is that they are very opinionated, Beck never went to college and Hannity dropped out of college, two are actors Limbaugh and Beck and Hannity is a pure ideologue. All three are very persuasive to the easily led. I use to be an independent but Reagan converted me to a democrat. He made me pay attention to politics for that I thank him.

Would that also include Jesus as well then?
  • Giantfan AL 2012/12/24 20:54:19

If Jesus were alive and preaching today saying He was the son of God I think the first ones to want him killed would be the good ol' conservatives just like the conservative Jews did. Blasphemy they'd be saying. If someone today claimed to be Jesus reincarnated they'd think the man was crazy and so would I. So my response is I listen to the teachings of Jesus but if I lived back then would I believe He was the son of God? Most likely not and most likely neither would you.

LOL! You do know Jesus never attended any College right? It also seems his wisdom never came from any place of higher learning either, yet it was a gift from God the father instead right? Yet he is and was the most trusted man on planet earth for over the last 2000 years anyway! So how does that egg on your face feel now?
