This recall election is a fluke and a clear demonstration of the level corruption between the Democrat Party and and the Public Service Unions.

The level of success achieved by Gov. Walker and his policies in his short period of time in office demonstrates clearly what this corruption is costing the taxpayers of Wisconsin and a microcosm of what is happening nationally by these Pro-Union Thugs...

What again? Didn't they just try that? Recall elections waste time and money. Unless the person is guilty of a crime wait until you can vote them out.

According to Wisconsin State Law, he certainly should be indicted. No wonder he won the election. What a fraud!

Make voting a "privilege" like when getting a drivers licence. Take the test, show I.D.,( social security card and certified birth certificate, drivers licence or State I.D, card) and make darn sure the voting machines are "fool proof" levers, NOT pen or pencil when voting. Its not that difficult. The shady ways we have now of voting needs to be eliminated!
A short citizenship or history test is a MUST to make sure people are aware of who and why they are voting. Many didn't even know why or who they voted for last election.

NO, but Wisconsin should explore the possibility of suing the unions for the cost of this recall.

I fully agree that the Unions should pay for the cost of the elections as well as the clean up of the capitol grounds.

The only reason that this "Recall" is happening is because Liberals in Wisconsin couldn't win the the State Legislature. You will recall (please excuse the pun) that Democratic State Legislators decided to leave Wisconsin when the debate on the Wisconsin State Budget was being debated. Also, the Issue of State Government Employee Benefits were being debated & Democrats didn't want to stand up & be counted. Except by being "Absent Without Leave" (A.W.O.L.)!!!!

I believe re-call elections were put into the State Consitution of Wisconsin and others in the event of fraud or corruption in the middle of a term. It was never intended to get rid os somebody because you do not like their pollicies!

Clicked the wrong thing. No of course he shouldn;t be recalled. He's the only Governor in the nation actually doing his job...why don't we recall the governors who deserve recall. Walker does not.

The people spoke and because he saved the state from bankruptcy and didn't get all the school teachers fired, someone wants a change. Well tough, wait until the terms over and kick him out if you can.

I don't think there should be any recall unless there has been a crime.
If you look at his record since he's been in he's not done a bad job, matter fact he's done a Dam good one.

He has in fact, turned evidence of crime found in his own department. He ordered the investigation instead of hiding or running from it.

The public unions don't want anyone to upset their cushy jobs. Therefore, Walker should get back in office.

I think all the stimulus money Obama gave to these Unions were wasted and when Obama gets the boot Romney should go to the union and demand the money Obama gave them be returned back to the country.

He has committed no illegal act. He even did what he said he was going to do during his campaign. When we have reached a point in this country when a group of people can remove legislators who were legally elected by a majority of the citizens simply because they don't like what he's doing (even though he told them he would) or don't like his methods, our democracy is surely dead. From that point on any politician will have to base his decisions on fear of recall because he's upset some subset of his constituents. Unions will have the ultimate power to determine who represents us simply by threatening recall retailation and thuggery. We will end up the United States of Chicago.

the number 83% no really surprises me with all the liberals on this site. I agree with the number... Wisconsin is in the black and things are beginning to look up. Like I told a union working friend, there are MANY MANY people in this state that would be more than happy to pay 12% of your wages for such a wonderful health care package.

It will be the biggest mistake of Wisconsin if they are forced to live under liberal lefty UNION rules. No jobs before and there will be less if Walker is not reelected today.

He did what he promised. He brought the state's budget deficit to a surplus position, the state's unemployment rate at 6.8% is below the national average and the state will be more attractive for business to relocate there. The cry baby unions cannot stand to see their corrupt power base crumble and eventually lose their influence so they have resorted to tax payer dollar wasting tactics to get their way. They will lose but the biggest losers are the rank and file workers they used as pawns.
