Well if you thin about it, the world was meant to end a number of times over the last 112 years, but we are all still here, are we not? I do not mean to offend people on purpose, just voicing my opinion.

I mean, Jesus said that no man shall know the hour, but he forgot about "Fred" the Mayan calendar maker who was informed by aliens of the special day. Of course, the Mayan calendar didn't include leap years so we are well into 2013 according to Magic Fred the Calendar maker. But that is just a minor issue. LOL

No I don't and the Mayan's never predicted it. It was just the date that their calendar ended. A calendar has to end at some point. My calendar last year ended on the 31st December 2011, but I never assumed that the world would end on that date.

I hope not. I'm actually looking forward to 2013.

The world won't end this year. The world will end when the Sun runs out of hydrogen fuel. After running out of fuel, the Sun will turn into a Super Giant. Then it will swallow the inner planets, Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars. The only planets that will remain is the outer planets, Jupiter, Saturn Uranus and Neptune; and also the dwarf planets, Pluto, Ceres and Vesta. After the Sun explodes, it will either turn into a White Dwarf (which is heavier than Earth and the Sun), or turn into a Black Hole that will later swallow the other planets as well. But don't worry, we still have about 5.5 billion years here on Earth; do we still have enough time to party.
