Barack Obama made headlines Friday as he stated that his administration will no longer deport young illegal immigrants who came to the U.S. when they were children. His announcement, as expected, was met with part-joy and part-skepticism -- as well as a heckler who constantly kept interrupting the president as he spoke.
"These are young people who study in our schools, they play in our neighborhoods, they're friends with our kids, they pledge allegiance to our flag. They are Americans in their heart, in their minds, in every single way but one: on paper," the president said in his speech Friday morning. But he was also quick to add that this is not a permanent answer. "This is not amnesty. This is not immunity. This is not a path to citizenship... It's not a permanent fix," Obama said. Do you think the U.S. should stop deporting young immigrants?
You are going through this blog leaving little snide comments like bird droppings trying to make yourself look smart when you appear foolish and childish.
I didn't say a word about immigration - I stated (and I quote) "The issue is whether we US Citizens will allow this man to trample the Constitution.... He said himself he didn't have the right to do this."
If you want the skinny on who is who with regard to this nation - a lot of folks contend that Native Americans - named Indians by Columbus - weren't the first here. Aren't we all equally from Africa? If you subscribe to that particular notion. Migration occurred at different times and so on and so on.
You have no idea of my ethnicity or heritage, but I'm an American and I'm very sure my ancestors came here because this was a nation of laws. Where all are equal and have inalienable rights - not just the rights someone like Obama would give them... maybe.
You are quite, quite silly and high-handed and ham-fisted if you believe I allow race to enter my equation in any discussion sans race.
You don't know a thing about me, my ancestry, my heritage, my religion, my spirit, my opinion or anything else for that matter. I said not a thing about immigration pursuant to the individuals choosing to illegally enter this country, be they Mexican, Canadian, formerly Yugoslavian, Russian, Italian, Greek or Honduran.
You choose to make this a racial issue. You choose to "back chore" these individuals in this repetitive and frankly, quite boring manner.
It IS about an over-reaching administration. It is about circumventing the constitution by executive fiat. IT IS ABOUT a President that cannot run on his record and panders, yes, panders to a brown constituent.
It's racist - it's wrong - it's ugly-minded.
Just like the President.
Racist, sexist, homophobic, misogynistic....evey ist and ic that exists in society.
Sick little control freak schmucks.
Truly a victim-mentality.

And since when does being able to spell translate into being a great American? Maybe it was the incompetent union teachers he was forced to endure. Thank you jimmy stickin carter. Another successful govt Dept of Education power grab. All that's left is energy and healthcare. And ocrapper seems to have these covered.
I personally have no problem with them being there, I just would rather them be citizens. My friend's dad is from Cambodia and is a legal American citizen. My friend was born in this country and is a legal American citizen. They both have the right to be in this country even though his father was born in Cambodia because they did it the legal way.
People who enter this country illegally need to be sent back to their own country or apply for citizenship. I know some people can't afford it, but guess what? Not everyone can afford a nice house. Does that give squatters the right to take over a nice house?

Two, do you dispute the validity of the issue I raised? Are farmers in some areas NOT struggling to find the workers they need to harvest their crops? Are those crops NOT rotting on the vine/branch as a result? And would hiring Americans at a higher payrate NOT translate into higher prices being passed on to the consumers?
All that being said, you're being incredibly disingenuous in some of your rhetoric. "Those with animal love and hate for humans"? "Swimming pools of the celebrities in LA"? It's extremely difficult to take anything you say seriously when you're throwing out baseless garbage like that. Come back when you're prepared to discuss this like an adult.
