Barack Obama made headlines Friday as he stated that his administration will no longer deport young illegal immigrants who came to the U.S. when they were children. His announcement, as expected, was met with part-joy and part-skepticism -- as well as a heckler who constantly kept interrupting the president as he spoke.
"These are young people who study in our schools, they play in our neighborhoods, they're friends with our kids, they pledge allegiance to our flag. They are Americans in their heart, in their minds, in every single way but one: on paper," the president said in his speech Friday morning. But he was also quick to add that this is not a permanent answer. "This is not amnesty. This is not immunity. This is not a path to citizenship... It's not a permanent fix," Obama said. Do you think the U.S. should stop deporting young immigrants?
The first is Legal, the latter is a Felon .... and no matter what, a Felon can't vote.
Here's the Law NostraDumbAss ....
Constitution as now amended, forever withholds the right of citizenship in the case of accidental birth of a child belonging to foreign parents within the limits of the country.
The provision is, that ‘all persons born in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens.
Need help cyperin' that info, or do you ... ahem ... " already know "
for those who are thinking, Many more than that many jobs, mostly low paying, were available for a very long time. When people see movies and the news programs about the United States and then look at the lives they are existing in, those who are brave and ambitious do the same thing that most of our ancestors did, came to the United States.
When my ancestors and most people in this country's ancestors came, if you were not a criminal or had some contageous disease, they were in. NO quotas. Most did not learn English, though the next generation did, as is happening now. In fact, German nearly became the official language of our country.
Not only young people brought here should be made legal, but there should be an easy path to citizenship for those hardworking immigrants who are making our country great with their hard work who came here seeking the same dream the majority of our own ancestors had.

Those who understand what is fair and are not bigots can see that there is a need to allow these people a path to citizanship. They would be contributing to the tax base, legally, and would be giving a boost to Social Secruity coffers as they are mostly younger people to just name a couple reasons we need them.
You claim family came legally but didn't speak English .... who filled out there documents .... you may want to consider the fact that prior to Sell-Out Progressives, Immigration Forms came in English only ?
Who were their Sponsors ... yes, another necessity back then ?
Who were their employers ... yes, another necessity back then ?
Without the regulation of immigration you risk putting the citizens of the country at risk of disease, viruses or pelages that infect the countries where immigrants are coming from. Remember when “Mad Cow Disease” struck Europe. The CDC was checking the shoes all inbound flights to the US to stop the spread of the disease. What if a pelage struck Guatemala or Mexico and we could not control the flood of refugees coming across the border? Think about it.

Haven't seen this much altered + fabricated info since Oct/Nov of '08, it's nearly comical < s >
Ask the Mexicans, they still want a couple States back, in fact, you and your neighbors may be forced to work for Mexican Min Wage if they get their way ... enjoy the Pension Plan.
And while you're at it, check out the Birthplace of Columbus and try runnin' that English BS past me again. That revisionist history .... gotta love it
Also I suggest you learn the difference between Federal Law and Felony. First Offense of Illegal Entry to the US is a Misdemeanor, just like a first offense of Drunk driving in most states.
Furthermore, I'll bet you a mountain of peso's that our screwed-up justice system has more repeat drunks incarcerated than they do Illegal Aliens .... and DUI isn't even a felony ... just a brilliant justice application.
........... right ?
You do know that we convey Citizenship upon 1 million plus people per year ... I said 1 million plus
How is it they can get it right , but I'm supposed to feel sorry for the Criminals ?
I FULLY AGREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...
