Obama depends on ilelgals, felons, and the dead for a winning margin. Purge the voting lists of those who should not be there, and Barry is goin' down.

BTW---those on "government assistance" should NOT be allwoed to vote since they are being paid every month to support the incumbent.

Could not agree with you more, but....... the voting lists are not going to be purged, he just filed suit against Florida to stop them from doing exactly that. He will do the same with any other State that even tries to make this a fair election.

Do you really think there is a possibility of passing law that would prevent those on the government dole from voting? You'd have better odds betting on BO balancing the budget!

I keep expecting another "terrorist" attack at any time. Though, I'm not so sure another one is necessary, at this point. All the media has to do is make mention of a plot and the public is ready to allow the government to sleep in bed with them so we're "safe".

I have finally managed to get a vegetable garden going and I don't have any debt. The other preparations are still works in progress. I, too, agree that we are nearing a financial crisis that is going to make the last several years look like child's play.

You are right about the will of the people to exchange freedom for protection, but another attack must happen to complete the plan and institute Marshall Law. That will allow the government to take complete control during the crash. Unfortunately, it's going to be worldwide and it's going to make the great depression look like good times. Mark my words, you are going to see U.N. troops enforcing the law in America just in case some poor trooper tries to defend the Constitution.

I'm glad to hear that you are making preps, anyone who doesn't is either a fool or they simply don't care what happens to themselves or their family. Even if one is still in a fantasy land and they believe that everything is going to be ok, they need to remember that even King Obama can't control natural disasters. Just look at how well the government handled Katrina and that should be enough motivation.

You've got a good start, keep planning and learning all you can. Your life and your family's life will depend on it.

Agreed.

The last thing I want for this country is any more bailouts. We should never have gone that route. We should have been been creating more jobs by bringing our exported industry back home and allowed the consumer to fix the economy the right way as opposed to creating more debt. Of course, according to our government and the media, debt is the American way.

Debt is the one thing that we are still good at. In fact, we are the best in the world at it. Unfortunately, most of the people of America don't realize that a government is no different than a household in that sooner or later, it will all come crashing down if you spend more than you make. The only thing saving us now is the ability to create "money" out of thin air to pay our bills. That privilege is about to go away and with it, the ability of this country to survive.

I'm expecting near record lows for voter turnout. The GOP held a nomination bid where its candidates tore each other apart and the most milquetoast one got the bid, Obama on the other hand has been too compromising and has ostracized his far left base for not doing enough to bridge the gap of income disparity, something the Republicans surely won't fix.

The only people who seem adamant about voting are the ones saying "anyone but Obama" where as that same attitude is what got us our current President to begin with.

I'm writing in Ron Paul, if you think I'm throwing away my vote, take a good long look at who you actually think is better, than get back to me on that.

Obama is going to let the wind out of Gary's sails by legalizing marijuana before the election. He has to do something to get the young vote and I'll bet dollars to dog turds he does it. It would be the only good thing he has done in office if he does.

Yes, you and I know that, but what about the rest of the country? He doesn't have the personality or the backing to get more than a handful of votes. That's just reality. Personally, I like Gary and I think he is a smart dude that understands far more than he will get credit for. Put him in a debate with Obama and he is toast, even though he is right. To get elected in this country, you have to make promises about what you are going to do for the voters. The average voter isn't smart enough to know that there is no such thing as a free lunch. They just want their piece of the public treasury.

You're right about the rest of the country. They're pretty much hopeless. BUT MUCH is going to happen between now and E-day, and we can only guess just what comes next. I plan as always to keep my conscience clear as possible.

According to real clear politics, which is the most objective source I've found, it's a very close race. Obama is up 2.3% in popularity, which is within most polls margin of error.

Obama is favored in states with a total of 221 electoral votes. Romney is favored in states with 170 electoral votes. It takes 270 electoral votes to win. So, no one has it sewn up.

There are 139 days until the election. The race will be won in that time.

Considering their policies are identical, I think people are confused as to what the actual differences are between them. Therefore, it will be like pin the tale on the donkey as it won't really matter who anyone votes for, its the picks of the establishment oligarchy and we are to choose between more of the same, or more of the same.
