Do you think the political questions on Sodahead are over the top

One look in that category and I think I could throw up with what some people believes and/or say. People's hate is so extreme, that they can't even show proper respect,. Twenty years ago people I knew who despised of the president would still refer to them as Mr. President, yet if you want to maintain old values you're not doing the greatest job. All it is hate, and more hate, rooted in media slander and libel, which is quite hard to swallow

Look at the top posters on this forum. (Check out the front page) Without giving names, they are the same three people day after day. Their posts are not thought provoking or informative but play on emotions, so often a post will only draw about 5 or 6 people who also return an emotional reply with hate filled rhetoric they are parroting from another source. It is apparent they never bother to cross check what they post.

It's a shame SODA cannot attract better informed and more respectful participants.

The worst part is when you try to come into these questions and give a reasonable answer and are attacked because you are obviously supporting the /other/ extremists. These people have let government propoganda and economic hardships divide and influence them to the point of a bunch of hatemongers, and thats the way the government wants it ... if the people are divided so strongly they are easier to manipulate and control.
