I have noticed a deeper divide in anti- Paul and pro- Paul supporters! I think this is going to be a nasty election..I figure as the election draws near it will get even more nasty..I predict it will be the dirtiest election in USA history and I figure that the battle and debates will heat up more as we enter November..Folks, I am not so happy about this election but I will continue posting my thoughts..Hopefully we can have a little civility here but I doubt it..I have seen some passionate folks speaking out with much vigor! Do you think the political climate will get more nasty on Sodahead?

I'd rather write in Ron Paul or Gary Johnson and at least my conscious is clear. I can't and WILL NOT VOTE for the OTHER CHOICES if that is what they want to cally them!

A vote for Ron Paul was a vote for Mitt Romney.

exactly, "was," which makes it a vote taken away from Mitt, and therefore given to 0boner - since wRONg Paul doesn't have a snowball's chance!

Interestingly enough, the last Obama vs Ron Paul poll taken had Ron Paul fairing quite a bit better than Mittens ever did. Seems if Ron was pitted against Obama in the General, your statement would not hold any weight and it may not yet.
Nothing is certain until after Tampa, contrary to MSM and your opinions.

No because it was the primaries. Mitt will be the nominee.

Oh please stop!! Ron Paul would draw thousands of Independent votes and Democratic voters from Obama..He has a much wider base then Ross Perot had,..If Romney loses it will be because he is weak, voter fraud, voter intimidation or these clueless idiots..Anyway Ron Paul is not going to run third party..Why are you guys not bitching about Gary Johnson the Libertarian Candidate?

They're not bitching about Johnson because they never heard of him. There are only 2 parties D and R.

"Politics sections" on discussion boards often get nasty as the elections come nearer; I go on one that has a lot stiffer tos and some people get downright nasty and lose one or even two names due to tos.

Paul is not an issue now. There should be no divide. I did vote for Paul in the Primary. I will vote for Romney in November. Neither were my first pick, but the issue is to get the marxist destroyer out of our WH.
When people start seeing their electric bill get as big as their house payment they will get what they deserve for voting for obaaaama.

I hate the lies, crap slinging exaggerations and party-line BS of both sides personally and would much rather focus on the positives of the candidates but both parties will continue to sell nasty so long as the people, as a whole, continue to buy it like hotcakes.

There are good reasons why dumb street thugs go to jail and the smarter ones end up running for or appointed to office. The body politic has always stunk which is why most good moral people don't have the stomach for it and want to avoid it like the plague.

short and sweet / hate sells ! But we can't lay all the blame on the poli's for them to keep selling us hate someone has to be buying ...President Bush did it himself and I supported his use of hate as we where in a big down turn "far worse than 07-08 and we took a hit on 9/11 there was going to be unrest and HATE and an explosion ...the only question was where that hate would be directed , outward or inward -
This blog touches on what is going on now but fails to point out that we are again "at a boil" and its just a question of where we are going to direct the HATE that is not going to go away on its own ....there is no magic trick , we will turn our hate outward or we will turn it on ourselves and burn this nation to the ground!
