I have noticed a deeper divide in anti- Paul and pro- Paul supporters! I think this is going to be a nasty election..I figure as the election draws near it will get even more nasty..I predict it will be the dirtiest election in USA history and I figure that the battle and debates will heat up more as we enter November..Folks, I am not so happy about this election but I will continue posting my thoughts..Hopefully we can have a little civility here but I doubt it..I have seen some passionate folks speaking out with much vigor! Do you think the political climate will get more nasty on Sodahead?

I don't expect Ron Paul, or his son, to do the third-party thing. So the convention will settle that question, one way or another.

The real nastiness will come from Obama's people. Because they have nothing to run on, and their record is the ideal thing for someone to run against.

I really like Ron Paul and do not consider Romney as much of a Conservative. But I may support Romney if he is the nominee. He would be better than what we have. I really wish that Huckabee would have ran. I hope that it does not get to bad.

I am having a problem. I just do not really care for Romney. I know that he would be better than Obama. I sent Romney some question asking him where he stood on certain issues, like The Patriot act, NDAA and executive orders that Obama has put in place. Some seeding power to the UN over America. So far he nor his camp have responded. I had found out that Romney was in favor of NDAA and The Patriot ACT and I wanted to give him a second chance and allow him to walk it back.

We were actually beginning to see a bit of real debate from time to time. But with both parties now free to use SuperPACs to raise unlimited cash from billionaires and corporations who will benefit by electing a personal mouthpiece to do their bidding, the TV and radio attack adds are going to be frequent and incredibly nasty. The only hope for sanity in a post Citizens United world is that we all get sick of the constant puking in our ears and no matter how much the dark side spends to buy America for themselves, we just tune them out.

Actually, I think it''s been very quiet around here lately...some of the regulars haven't been here as often, so it's been very boring.

But it will heat up after August, with the usual mud-slinging and name-calling.

If there's a fight between the Paul lovers and haters, so what...this will be his last election performance, so he's got to get the most exposure out of it as he can, doesn't he?

But come the day after the election in November, Obama will be re-elected, and all of the Republicans/conservatives/t-b... will have another 4 years in which to waste their time trying to prove to us once again that Obama isn't a citizen, etc, etc, etc, and how he's going to ruin the country (again) like he didn't do in his first 4 years.
