    as a colorado residant, i can say that there isn't much you can do in situations like these put take shelter, hope for rain, and follow the fires.

    Well, what would you suggest? Those "Christians" that are so prevalent in Colorado Springs could all gather in the mountain and pray for rain. Or, the "Focus on the Family" crowd could tell us what "God" wants them to do to avoid disasters like preventing a conception. We are flexible, just waiting for rain or other help.

    I live here - all of the Colorado personnel have knocked themselves out - it is still burning so this is not over, but we are headed in the right direction

    They need relief, the nation needs farmers. senior water users, what are they using it on that's more important than farmers crops and livestock?
    We're all going to have a drought in the SE this year there was no snow up north to run off. We can't all just dry up and blow away.
