Do you think that we should elect all new people to our government positions. All new senators, congressmen ,The Pres , all of them? Because they REALLY suck!

Not a bad idea. I am really getting sick of this whole election. But, oddly I am still listening to POTUS 08 on XM radio. I need help!

If I could get myself to believe that it would work I would do it. I am too cynical at this point to see any light at the end of the tunnel.

Providing this is still a "free country" in 8 years, I am thinking about running for president myself..

I figure, even with no political background, I will easily be more effective than Bush has been....

Hell yes we should be voting all new people into congress. There may be a very few exceptions like Ron Paul but the rest are useless, I know I will NOT be voting for the 2 we have up for reelection here this November. I know there has got to be someone out there willing to stick to the Constitution and to listen to the people. It is time to clean house and get these people who have been in long term and look for better who are wanting to serve and not rule the people of our country.

I've been proposing starting over fresh with a two term limit for months.
SCRAP EM' ALL AND START OVER. If they get caught in a lie or doing anything illegal, IMMEDIATE DISMISSAL. NO PORK ALLOWED.

I don't disagree. I do believe in term limits. I get worn out watching the same old faces, weather it be Robert Byrd or Trent Lott. They have all been there to long. 6 terms in the house and 3 terms in the senate MAX. then and only then will things change.

Throw out every Incumbant. Give all the runners two weeks to get their message out, (probably by E-mail) Then have general elections and let the popular vote decide. Even people elected with no political experience at all, might be able to apply common sence.

Not all I agree with. Research the candidates and pick one that closely represents your positions. Then get involved at the grass roots level to help promote those who are better suited to be elected representatives. good question.

They don't all suck -- a lot of them are good, hardworking folks trying to get their jobs done as best they can. But the bottom line here -- if you don't like your Congresscritter, your mayor, your State Rep -- get out there and get involved in the process. But I like my Congresswoman; I like one of my Senators a lot, the other one some of the time.
