What would life be like if we all worked and pay taxes? If we all worked to make things and provide services that the other workers did not have time to make. The more workers we have the more workers we would need to keep up with the demand of the workers that have plenty of money because they dont have to support the nonproductive and lazy libs that are still in the blue states working the system and not paying taxes. There is no limit to what we can do when we all chip in and carry our own weight. Note: when I say workers, I mean every body of all crafts inclubing: Builders, Investers, Insurers, Drivers, Fabricators, Inventers, Inspecters, Shippers, Engineers, Electricians, Concrete, Mechanics, everybody..............

No they are mostly fringe lunatics who rant about everything political. They are the minority cesspool of mental midgets who want things to remain as 1955 and just pretty much hate the fact that a black guy is sitting in the White House. They have four more years to whine and cry but I wish they could leave we would be a better country without them.

I don't really like the question. It's worded badly. I'm not sure I would describe them as patriotic. I'm sure they are fed up with what the government has developed into. I'm sure that they long for a more pure system in which the voice of the people is more fervently heard. I'm sure that they desire for this to be a strong country once again. Is patriotism the desire to return to the ideals that founded this nation? Is patriotism the willingness to face sacrifice in order to embrace freedom? I'm sure that is what some called it during the war that formed this country. I'm sure others called it Revolt. The line between patriotism and revolution is a very fine one if a line dose indeed exist at all my thought is that the two overlap quite a bit. I would call it revolutionary, I see that this country is headed down that path. It first starts off like this small and in substantial but it grows and continues to do so slowly. The elates in power will try and undermine it and stamp it out but this will work only to fuel the fires that are only embers now. The unfortunate thing is that this one will get very very messy. Power will become more and more centralized until the states are usurped completely. State establishments will be wiped out by literal force near the breaking point ...

Power will become more and more centralized until the states are usurped completely. State establishments will be wiped out by literal force near the breaking point and there will be universal law enforcement and privacy will be a story that was told to us by our grand parents. I suspect it will take perhaps another 25 to 75 years before things come to a head. People will only stand so much of there personal freedoms to be taken from them. History has shown time and again that repression brings revolution. Over regulation breads repression. Greed breads regulation. Our economic system is under attack from our own government and the government has been consolidation centralized power for a while now. They have been eroding our rights for the past 15 to 20 years. Now they can hold a person indefinitely without charging them just by make the accusation that they are terrorist. This is unprecedented. It feeds the speculation that the attacks of 9/11 were a false flag operation. Such an accusation isn't as much of a stretch as people would like to think. This was the launching platform for the Law that will undermine all citizens freedoms. Terrorism is a rather subjective definition. All most any actions that is not officially sanction by a state sponsor can be considered a terrorist act. Terrorist organizations such as green peace and PETA can be hunted down and destroyed. You see we have been on this slippery slope and have actually slipped. The only question that remains is how far shall we fall.

They have the right to do it. In fact, I think when Texas rejoined the Union, I think they reserved the right to do it if they didn't like the things were going. Let'em go if they want.

my intellect compared to yours has been proven by the simple fact that you are unable to refute my argument without insults. It is an historical fact that the states were given the right to opt out if they so chose, it is also an historical fact that up until Lincoln it was considered such an obvious idea that it wasn't questioned by anyone. There is nothing in the Constitution that requires me to sit still for the Federal government's continually overstepping their Constitutionally granted powers. If you can't offer any better argument than "You're an idiot", maybe you can see why I wouldn't want to be a part of of any country that would be proud to have you as a citizen.

You are TOTALLY full of Sh*t.

Nowhere in the Constitution does it say that states can secede.

That whole notion was put to rest by a little thing called the American the Civil War, aka The War Between the States, aka The War of Slapping the Sh*t out of Traitorous, Secessionist Scum.

    . . . MORON

You traitorous Right Wing Filth only think you can tear this nation apart any time you want to.

it is quite amusing, that you continue to malign my intellect, simply because you cannot offer any real dispute to what I said. Personally, given a choice, I am a patriot. I love my country very much. However, there is nothing saying I must therefore love my government. If you cannot see the slowly tightening noose, you are blind, delusional, or a part of the problem. You behave as if the loose confederation of states which was intended by the constitution is some sacred joining that must and should be forever bound, regardless of what any one state might want. Such is simply not the case, was not the intent of the founding fathers, and if it was, it is not a country I could be proud of. Up until Lincoln, the US was referred to by its citizens as " these United States", acknowledging the separation and equal status of each state, after Lincoln violated his authority, (and since) it has been referred to as "the United States", as if it was simply one conglomerate, all with the same mind and no rights... personally I prefer the former.

So you still want your slaves? Still bitter about Lincoln freeing them? Then you mentioned "noose".

you are obviously a very troubled person. The historical fact is that slavery was on the way out already from inventions like the cotton gin, etc. So no, I don't "want my slaves". My family didn't even come to this country until 1870, so that is a non issue. You questioned my patriotism, but I am in fact a veteran, and I served proudly. Have you bothered to serve or did you simply put that duty off on someone else like most of the liberal mouth breathers? You question my intellect, and my humanity... I can only assume it is because you have neither and therefore cannot recognize them when you see them. Instead of bothering to continue with your ridiculous attempts at intelligent debate, why don't you find something more productive to do, like possibly burying your head in the sand, or running to create petitions to beg the government to protect you

You aren't a patriot!!!!....anyone can call themselves that, but to suggest dividing a nation because it isn't following how you you think it should operate is a travesty...Love of country includes accepting, not neccessarily agree with the government...I didn't like how we were drug into 2 wars, but I would NEVER turn my back on our nation cause of differences...The noose that you claim is tightening has been for quite some years...over 20 some years, yet ALL of a sudden secession is the answer...LOL..So you are suggestng that the constitution isn't worth the paper it was written on?...Your preference isn't an issue...Your patriotism is....and its falling miserably short.....LOL...aren't you guys the one always screaming the constitution and love of our country?...Yeah, I see clearly what you are...

yes, I believe in love of country, and the ideals it was founded on, I don't care for the government of this country, a government which has far more power than it was ever intended to have. Power stolen from the millions of sheeple who go into the voting booth like they are choosing someone on American Idol. A democracy only works as long as the people doing the choosing are tied into the process, paying attention to what their government is doing in their name. I do not believe for one moment that this monolith we have for a government will ever return to its intended place, they already have far too much power. So rather than watch the idiots keep voting in people who will abuse their power and make a mockery of the ideals I believe in, yes I advocate secession. A chance to start over, and possibly make it work this time, even if just for a time. That is the most patriotic thing to do, to acknowledge that this government has corrupted the beautiful ideals of the founding fathers, and to cease to associate myself with it. If I am creating an art work, say a painting, and I suddenly come to a point that I realize it is horribly wrong, the time has come to scrap it and start over, doing it right this time. That in a nutshell is secession

On the other hand some were not patriotic in the first place and are just loons, they are happier when throwing a temper tantrum and stomping away mad.
