It took 2 years from the beginning of Watergate to its conclusion, which was the forced resignation of President Nixon from office.
Benghazi-gate will last for at least 2 years. Will it have the outcome similar to that of Watergate? It's possible.
For the outcome of Benghazi-gate a lot will depend on the results of the mid-term elections in 2014, as the Senate is supposed to confirm the decision of the House on the impeachment, so the impeachment could become a reality.
So, we will see.
Well, let's see.
The American people were told -
It was just a protest rally that got out of hand - Untrue.
The motive for the attack was an anti-Islamic video on YouTube that had been posted many months before the attack. - Untrue.
Neither the President, nor Secretary of State Clinton, saw - nor were aware of - cables begging for extra security. - Untrue.
Neither the President, nor Secretary of State Clinton, saw - nor were aware of - requests for help as the attack commenced until it was too late to do anything. - Untrue.
President Obama claimed that once he was aware of the attack, he did everything in his power to save the lives of American citizens that were being butchered. - Untrue.
The truth of the matter, as told by Defense Secretary Leon Panetta, is that Obama spoke to him ONCE and told him to do what was necessary to save the lives of the Americans that were being attacked. Panetta never heard from Obama, nor anyone else at the White House, again until AFTER the attack ended and four American Citizens had been brutally murdered and their bodies were drug through the streets for the Entire World to see.
What it was is INHUMAN, INCOMPETENT, INEXCUSABLE and MORALLY WRONG.
These Americans asked for extra security at least three specific times, and were denied it every time.
Why was the need for security so Urgent?
Well, let's see -
1) The area in which the Americans were serving their country was a "Hot Spot" for Terrorism.
2) Violence and unrest towards Americans that worked in the Consulate was steadily increasing.
3) The Anniversary of the 9/11 Terrorist Attacks was only days away. It is Common Knowledge that Terrorists tend to commit violence and atrocities against others on anniversaries that they consider themselves as having been victorious in.
What possible reason(s) could Obama and his Administration have had that would warrant and/or validate the denials?
Four American Patriots died while serving their Country that day. The most Horrific aspect of the attack is that had Obama and/or Secretary Clinton responded and approved the requests for additional Security, any loss of life could have been prevented.
Knowing that your life may be at risk while serving your country does not validate and/or excuse losing your life as a direct result of the incompetence and arrogance displayed by the current President of our country.

One thing that I would love to know is how our Government can attempt to impeach Bill Clinton for an Extramarital Affair and Sexcapades, yet Obama gets a pass for his errors, ignorance and inaction that resulted in the Brutal Murders of four Americans.

Obama ordered that the Defense Department respond to the attack with "all available DOD assets" and try to protect U.S. personnel, Panetta said.
Ayotte and Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-South Carolina asked how many times Obama spoke with Panetta and Dempsey after learning about the attack.
Once, in a half-hour conversation with the president, the men said; Obama did not personally get back in touch with them to ask how the mission to help personnel in Benghazi was going.
"Do you think it's a typical response of the president of the United States to make one phone call, do what you can and never call you back again and ask you, 'How is it going, by the way?'" Graham asked.
Panetta replied, "The president is well-informed about what is going on, make no mistake about it."
