    unless, of course, you mean the "shining path" like the communist terrorists / murderers in Peru support ... the current generation has given us anarchy, leechery (a mix of leeches and lechery) and other infantile crap that displace and destroy community ... the producers of this nation made one big mistake - they didn't punish the crap out of their kids when they acted up, and instead rewarded them for mendacity and laziness ... we, the producers, are now left with the legacy created by the "gimme-gimme" crowd, and will likely have to work even harder to clean up the mess that the current assinine OWS-types make when they throw their temper tantrums

    It will never be Utopia no matter who dies out. So what is the name of the generation before Baby Boomers and the one before that is gone now. Is it any better??? If all the illegal immigrants went away would things get better? GE is moving to China... so they will stay there.

    The really funny thing is that the imbecile who came up with the question doesn't realize" baby boomer" is anyone born between 1946-1964. Obama was born 1961, so their hero is a baby boomer. The fact that they aren't aware of this fact pretty much sums up the stupidity of this speak before you think generation! They are actually being indoctrinated by Baby Boomers. 

    I am a baby boomer -we've always been active in all aspects of life and still are. I see a lot of apathy in younger people - there are an alarming number who have a sense of entitlement which will lead to them accepting handouts from the government. I am close to a 21 year old girl, and she has absolutely no ambition or aspirations - my husband and I took her on a cruise thinking it would be a wonderful experience, and she would see what hard work and money could buy. She could have cared less. It didn't change her outlook one bit. I hate to think what this country will be like when the boomers are gone.

    I am not a victim of propoganda. I have experienced it all first hand. I am not big on the news or newspapers. I know what I want, how I want it, and I'm not likely to change my mind. How dare you say that when my generation fought a senseless war in Vietnam - the beginning of several senseless wars - and the young men of my generation either came back totally screwed up in the head, in body bags, or blown to bits. However, medicine being what it is, they were able to put them back together - sort of. I am sick of snot nosed brats who don't know jack, have never worked or served in the armed forces, and probably never read a history book.

    No, things didn't become "bad" as you say until the generation below the boomers grew up and started voting and putting in their two cents worth.

    70 years ago, you're right. But not in the last 50+. Plus even in the days of a segregated military they were patriotic soldiers, sailors and marines, fighting for the country they honored and loved. So what's your point, if you actually had one?

    He has no knowledge of anything other than what he wants to believe. 70 years ago the military was segregated we all know that. For the past 50 it hasn't been and even when it was you cannot question the patriotism of those that served. He's an idiot, not worthy of even attempting to have a rational debate with.
