From that begining Obama has chopped it down to $1.26 trillion for 2010, to $1.10 trillion for 2011, and to $1.09 trillion for 2012, all while John Boehner has not allowed additional revenue from returning tax rates to the same level they were when we last had budget surpluses. Now that Boehner is exposed to bring the Senate's bill to the floor that extends tax cuts for everyone BUT the top tax bracket, we are getting to where $1.6 trillion in additional revenue can be raised over the next 10 years. Going from $1.6 trillion to $1.09 trillion has alreaady reduced the deficit by 32%. Don't you morons follow these things?

Type in google, it isn’t that hard, look it up yourself, or go ask someone who was in business back in the 50’s; I don’t really care; because the FACT is, people making more than 200K a year back in 1954 did have a 91% tax rate; but they also had enough deductions that they weren’t left with only 20K of their earnings. The 1986 updates lowered the tax rate, and reduced the number of deductions both.
