Why do we need this monstrous out-of-control government regulating 1 thing more?

Being part of the public doesn't mean it's right for them to interfere with a wedding. Many people decide to get married on beaches. Some of them are very special places for some people. If they aren't causing a problem or doing anything illegal, then I honestly think it's ridiculous to regulate on it. Not to mention, if the public does own the beach, then the public should be able to use it. At least it would make sense for people to get permits for big weddings, but most people don't choose to have big weddings at a public beach.

Of course they have that right. Public beaches are owned by the public, and the state has the duty and the authority to regulate all activities on those beaches for the benefit of the public, not any single private individual.

Wedding are mostly a private affair aren't they? I doubt if the "public" would be welcome to someone's wedding uninvited..

and no. they are public lands. but we give these people authority to administer public lands. public lands are open to the public. yet no one has a right to monopolize them for their own use.

That's stupid for the government to regulate weddings period no matter where someone wants to get married.
