Not a chance. The mitt and eddie munster lost the election. Now the munster can resume his disappearing math project and push America off the fiscal cliff. And we can watch The Boner make another attempt at herding the cats that infest the House.

    Not true -

Romney has said time and again during his 2008 and 2012 presidential campaigns that he is “ unapologetically pro-life” but does not oppose abortions in instances of rape and incest or when the procedure is necessary to protect the life of a mother. This is the same position he proclaims to this day and which his campaign reiterated in its ad last week.

He lies--------a lot. Like the time he attempted to talk a pregnant married woman ,who received permission from the church hierarchy ,out of having an abortion because having the child would have killed her. He told her why should she be so lucky when others weren't . The husband and father threw him out of their house. And like the time he told an unmarried teen to give her baby to the church when she wanted to keep it to raise herself. So as Bishop, he excommunicated her and threatened her family with the same if they did not shun her. Really nice guy. Smiling faces sometimes deceive, but he's not deceiving me. You wanna be his sucker, by all means.

    That is because he doesn't.

What he has been adamant about is that Americans should not be forced to help pay for birth control if it is against their religion to do so.

They aren't, their insurance companies are and insurance companies like it that way because it saves them billions in pregnancy costs, oh, shortsighted one.

Wow, no one researches information anymore! I am a Democrat. I don't even like Mitt Romney. But, I never, ever heard Romney say he would ban birth control or take voting rights away from women. WTF?

What he said is he did not think taxpayer money should pay for free birth control as part of the planned parenthood ...nor should organizations that provide healthcare that disagree with the premise of birth control be forced to ensure the option exists. How in hell do you get he is killing your birth control. If you have public insurance, your birth control is covered. Hell, wake up.

On the other side of the coin, Obama is not a communist. He is a social activist and feels that the role of government should be different and extend its reach to ensure the welfare of the people that live in this nation. Whatever rocks your boat here but that doesn't mean he is a communist.

What I hate about elections is that the media fails at providing facts. They give you enough facts and toss in opinion. It angers people and pits them against one another. Its horrible and I will probably never vote again! Not worth the anger and ugliness that spews from those that oppose the opposite view. Grow up people, base your vote on facts, find a freakin' video of the actual candidate and develop your own opinion.

I like that you atleast look up things for yourslef. Instead of allowing bull crap statements go un checked. That is more then what 90% of the voting population will do.

They will believe the lies, the slander, and advertisements that brainwash them into voting the way they vote.

That is no different someone voting democrate or republican becasue they are told by their church, someone in entertainment. Or just because their family history says they are this or that. Those are all people that should not vote that vote that way.
  • You Go ... troy.r.... 2012/11/06 07:20:53

I totally agree. What I found is that as a younger person if it was announced on CNN, FOX, MSNBC....gosh, it must be true. But, as an adult with children, I developed a need for the facts because as I decided on my interests and passions in life and how I made decisions on raising my children, knowledge is most certainly power. Who makes decisions with only small morsels of truth?

I think its fair to say that most will be liberal about a few things and conservative about other things. It doesn't mean that liberal think is better or worse than conservative or vice versa. We adopt pieces that fit our personal direction.

Media outlets don't really have our interests at heart. Its about ratings and their own selfish cause. With such a huge influence over people's lives I'd say its dangerous, self-serving and unfair to the masses.

agree with that 100%, When I was 18 I register no political party had to argue and fight about that, they wanted me to either be Repulican or Democrat or Independant.

Had the same issue with my dog tags when I was in the Marines, I said no religous perference. They try to force their dogma on me, with that. I said If I am shot in combat, I am not going to stay alive for this type of preacher/rabbie or another. Whatever one is availabe will do.

AP perhaps...but not NPR. To be honest, I really don't want anyone interpreting anything for me. If video exists, I hunt it down. If there is a piece of legislation up for debate, I go to the official release of that legislation at Whitehouse.gov. I make the call for my own comfort. I may be skewed in perception. But, its my call and I am more comfortable with that. Fact checkers are horrible and as bad as the network from which they report. Then I vote based on my convictions...could be Republican or Democrat....not party alone.

Check this out. When we do get "facts" republicans deny and lash out suppress them.

The New York Times reported on Thursday that Senate Republicans applied pressure to the nonpartisan Congressional Research Service (CRS) in September, successfully persuading it to withdraw a report finding that lowering marginal tax rates for the wealthiest Americans had no effect on economic growth or job creation.

Don't listen to media outlets. Go to whitehouse.gov or c-span. That's the problem with both sides. They allow pundits to verbalize what they want you to hear and you take it as gospel. I NEVER buy what any of them say, not Fox, CNN, NPR, Washington Times, NY Times and especially not MSNBC (yuck). You'll be so suprised that all of them distort the truth.

Evil backwards is Live, So what is the lessor of 2 evils. Obama almost trippled the national dept, The job market is virtually identical to when he was elected but those able and willing to work has grown, Wages and salaries are at pre Ragen error. . A few select Big Corporation now pay nothing in tax because of Obama. Crude Oil prises are down, Oil refinement is up, and the cost of gas is still almost double of what it was when Obama took office. Obama wants to stripe Medicare to pay for ObamaCare

I do not need to compare anybody else, as there is nobody that can be more evil and anti American then Obama.

Romney immediately outlawing birth control would be a nightmare, & not just for women!

Or will he take away womens' right to vote, first?

I am a Dem too. But, find a video of the candidate stating this or C-SPAN link that verifies what you just stated. Romney never said he was outlawing birth control and take away women's right to vote? Double B.S. Not trying to be mean or anything.

Romney does not agree that tax payer dollars should be spent on planned parenthood. Meaning, the tax dollars now are being used to provide free contraceptives. He also doesn't agree that churches or organizations that have different beliefs about contraceptives be forced to provide it in the plans they offer their congregation or participants.

How does that equal outlawing birth control? It doesn't. Like I said, I am a Dem but I hate when people spout BS information and persuade people who really don't follow the candidates. That's why the sides are so divided.
