If you have to ask that question, you didn't watch it. He was phenomenal: he put it out there in plain English just exactly what the Republican plan was, and explaining that no president could fix in four years what put us in the position.

Clinton needs to bow out of the picture. He brought shame and disgrace to the office while he was president and the fact that the Democrat Party keeps trotting him out to give speeches shows just how out of touch they are with the American people who actually work and contribute to the nation.

Last night ex President Clinton mentioned in his speech that the Democrats have increased employment since 1961 by 42 million jobs and the Republicans by only 24 million. I don't know where the numbers come from but I do know that he didn't mention that a large portion of those Democratic jobs were government jobs. Those jobs are a drain on the economy, not a benefit. Your taxes are paying for those jobs. They don't call him "Slick Willy" for no reason.

In case you wondered where I got my numbers when disputing Bill Clintons numbers. I used the census as published on the internet. As you know, It starts in 1960 and ends in 2010. I found some projected numbers thru end of 2011 but as you all know, the internet is so full of biased information that these numbers could be off a little. Not too much I hope.. It appears that State and Federal employment increased from 2008 to 2010 by just over 140,00 before DECREASING one half of one percent by the end of 2011. During that same period, private employment has DECREASED just over six percent. It also appears that since 1960 both private and public employment has increased considerably. Federal Government employment has increased ONE HUNDRED FIFTY FOUR percent and State government has increased over TWO HUNDRED percent. Don't con...

I am sure by now that you have seen commercials for Obama done by Bill Clinton. As you listen and watch, please try and remember that although he was once President he is an admitted and convicted liar and is not much more than a child molester

He lied just as much as Obama did. Maybe he should have talked about the deregulation of big banks like his repealing of the Glass Stiegal act. You know, the act which protects Americans from big banks stealing your 401K? And Obama's jobs bill, you mean the one Harry Reed stopped in Congress in 2011? Or maybe Billy should have talked about him signing NAFTA into effect, and the "TA" bills Obama has signed to send more American jobs off shore??

I voted for Obama as my state Senator and waited to see his votes in the senate. After researching his votes, I watched all the debates; and knew he was just saying what he thought Americans wanted to hear. I voted for Hillary, and you can see where that went. I would have voted for Santa Clause after reading his senate record and the bills he voted on. Let’s see, Obama wanted to lower the national debt, it’s now over 16 trillion. Obama wanted to lower the price of gas when it was at 2.50 a gallon, it’s now at $4.00 in Illinois. Obama wanted to close the loop holes in the "TA" programs. Not only has he NOT done that, he's just signed a 'TA' bill with Brazil and Columbia. Obama was going to post the bills on the internet before they were signed so he could be transparent, yet he gave illegal’s amnesty without a vote. How about using his office to protect what happened with ‘Fast and Furious? How many vacations have the Obama’s had while he’s been in office while Americans are suffering? 23 million Americans un-employed or under-employed…Lets not forget the 750 billion Obama took out of Medicaid to fund Obama-care...Maybe if Obama knew how to lead, OUR senate would compromise, but even some Dems can't agree with his policies

Keep in mind that when Obama was a Senator, the economy was VERY different...
And I'm from MA and I know Romney's records there... As president, he'd be a disaster.

Bill killed the RNC in cold blood in front of a national audience. It was that good. We won't see the funeral until Nov 6th. Obama may have been leading slightly, but Bill closed the deal and probably is responsible for half the points in the Obama bounce. Like the president or not, Bill sold Obama's reelection...and the deal was sealed after Thursday.

I think he did it not just for Obama but also to setup Hillary in 2016.

It was a success from the stand point that if Bill was running, He would win. It did not help Obama out of the pit he is in. Hillary is starting to look pretty good for 2016. President Clinton and Hillary again , Katie bar the door. Lock up all the interns , here comes Bill.

Maybe to the dems. I find it ironic that people flock to a known hater of women (you have to hate them to treat them the way Bill did) who speaks on behalf of a party that say they stand for women rights. Bill is also a proven lier. When it comes to being a good man and a compationate human; both Bill and Barry are overshadowed by a very large measure by a proven good man. Mit Romney.
If you dems want people of weak character for a president - you truely are Godless and lack moral character.

He told just about the right amount of spin to make another fraud possible! The problem is that a lot of lies led up to the Clinton speech and unless those delegates and the viewing public were deaf or indifferent to the plight of Americans they too must have seen and been disgusted with the "lie and tell" show. Has this American life deteriorated so that we believe blatant lies and liars like Debbie Wasserman-Schultz (DWS) and those who allowed the "Ayes" and "Nos" to change a platform for an affirmative vote "Aye" that was clearly "NO!" three separate times, because it was written into the message on the teleprompter. If were were to have had a Democrat as President in 2008, it should have been Hillary, for she, unlike Obama and DWS, doesn't have her head up her butt!

If a slick talking BS artist is what impresses you.... then, yes, very effective.
Obama is also very glib. People who get all emotional or excited by speeches were near tears, some near orgasm as I witnessed.

People who are in touch with reality see through the BS of both liars. Inspirational speeches by 'slick' salesmen cannot cover-up the disparate circumstances that millions of American citizens are suffering through.

Yes, Romney has the personality of wet cardboard, but personality (something Obama has an abundance of) cannot solve our problems and Obama has made things demonstrably worse.

I say, give Romney a chance to revive America's economy and standing in the world.
People who view Obama as the 'next coming' can still listen to his glib and inspiring speeches from Chicago - safely away from Washington, DC where he can't do any more damage to our Nation.

You know damn well George W Bush fuked up our economy and took us to war when it wasnt necessary. Face it putting another republican in office gives us the willy's, reguardless of whether they might do a better job. That trickle down theory doesnt fly well with most americans either.
