No one has the authority to do so. I cannot tell my neighbor what peaceful activities he may or may not do. Nor can I delegate an authority I do not have to another any more than I can give an apple I do not have to someone. Therefore, I cannot delegate the authority to ban a peaceful act to another.

Government is just a group of people. Those people are no different from any other and therefore they cannot have any more authority than any other, nor may an individual grant them authority they do not already possess innately.

Banning a peaceful activity is the moral crime of initiating force against a peaceful person. In other words, it is assault. Moreover, that assault is funded by extortion (threats of violence) and to a lesser degree, physical violence against those who have only acted peacefully themselves.

Suppressing sexual urges in a society doesn't create a more moral society, it actually creates MORE sex crimes as the sexually repressed people start to act out in more risky and often violent behavior.

The acting was great (and there's an R rated version with the sex scenes removed, that's how good it was made) but the 3D effects where... sub par. It didn't age well.

There's nothing wrong with porn as long as everyone involved with producing it is a consenting adult.

If there's anything truly damaging to the collective psyche, it's this idea that porn is "shameful" and "wrong." So many people carry around unneeded religious or social guilt for decades over this, and it's very sad.
