moderate m,ovement is good for the majority of people !! Almost anything helps. Very few people need to be "an olympic champion" , but it would be good to be able to get out and "do something" & help yourself to feel better !!

I think the main reason so many USA people are inactive, is because they are mentally overstressed and overworked, But Yes, physical inactivity leads to boredom, which makes you eat more and do drugs, which leads to lard butt, which leads to heart disease, etc..

Physical exercise and a clean diet, keeps you young and beautiful longer. All smoking and drinking will do is age you very quickly

No, I think smoking is much worse. But we should all exercise as much as possible.....use it or lose it.

as you get older and you don't do any exercising you will find, you will grow older so much quicker, but smoking is so bad for you and could easily shorten your life

While physical inactivity is not good for you it can never be as bad as smoking is. I have been retired for about 10 years and over time that has involved less physical activity than it use to. However my mother smoked most of her life and always had a moderate amount of activity. She passed away from lung cancer at the age of 68. I am 3 years older than she was and doing good. I have never smoked in my life.

Smoking kills and it is a proven fact. And it can kill you over time by just being around it. Inactivity may not be good for you but it does not kill you directly.

Smoking is not good for health. Exercise is. I use pure tobacco and make my own. It doesn't seem to have as much of a bad physical effect on my body, but it can't have a good one either.

1 hour of physical inactivity does not even come close to being as bad as 1 hour of smoking.

Yes, I do. But like smoking, I don't believe it is the government's place to interfer in people's choice regarding physical inactivity.

Its not the smoking of tobacco that is proven to be bad for you...its all the man made products added that is bad for you! Physical inactivity is laziness or couch potatoe, uncontrollable illnesses as a veggie, and may lead to obesity! Anyone with daily duties, chores, employment, raising family, or consistently on the go is not physically inactive! It helps to be more specific about what better defines being physically inactive!

sitting around all day won't give you tar infested lungs which could lead to cancer and other diseases. it's still bad for you, just not as bad as smoking.
