Why not - did Bush try to use "Mission Accomplished".... Didn't Reagan use Carter's failed attempt to rescue the hostages against him?..so yeah, it's fair game to use it...

You give it a rest, his appointments of his commanders is part of his duties- his commanders picked good people. What exactly causes you to pis your pants about him having the competence his predecessor apparently didn't have?

Seal Team Six already existed as to his "competance" he did the job he was supposed to do nothing more nothing less as any other President should have dont try to make him look like some kind of hero because he isnt

heh, that's what a president does. JFK was the last president to truly institute a whole new tool of fighting muscle that was promulegated to the US Army when the 'Green Berets where instituted on his watch. Did this President 'invent' the Seals - no, he just used them better much like Sgt York used his rifle a bit better than his fellow soldiers on a very important day in 1918. GWB had is 'rifle' but he didn't use them either... that's the difference...

The Economy is the main point in the campign~not Osama Ben Laden.
President Obama did what hap to be done, and he got the job done.
Not like Geroge Bush, who went to war to clear his Fathers's name but
didn't ~he only plunged the United States into a 10 year war to which we're
not finished and soilders are still fighting.

so you have no one there either like bush or romney? I had two sons to follow my 20 yrs of duty to the nation. but that's typical of the usual chicksh*t hawk - all mouth and no balls

Heh, I don't have to, but at least you took the bait and got my point. I have 2 sons with more time in country in their theater of ops for this generation of GI's than even most GI's. Their #1 issue - how uncommitted they feel this nation is to their mission. BTW, I was brought up in my more formative years by 100% VN vets. That's helluva lot more than 99% of my peers who could have joined me - but chose not to. This President did the job that needed done - if he hadn't, the GOP would not let him forget. Instead they want everyone to forget how bad they look on this - well tough sh*t..... If that be the case - they'll have to put their big boy pants on and suck it up while they get reminded of this President commanding in 3 yrs what they had 8 to do. GWB was the CnC but not one Senator or Congressman even asked what the hell he was doing to bring OBL to a meeting with a .45 ACP. In fact GWB told a reporter during a news conference that he didn't give OBL that much thought.... there you have it... the GOP with a chickenhawk president on top of it's ticket.

I am not sure I would call it a "great moment." We should never celebrate, in any manner, the death of another human being. When we do so, we lower ourselves to the level of the person who died. Bin Laden's death should not be a campaign issue...

Has nothing to do with anyone who is in office or running for president. NOTHING.
Obama said he would have troops home with in three months of him getting the job, then three years later he takes credit for the Osama kill.
A kill that took 8 years to develop.

Osama has nothing to with any of these people.

but oddly enough, two people who were killed last year, known as evil rulers, share a similar looking/sounding name to mr Barrack Hussein Obama

but then again, we had Colon,Bush and Dick in office and no one realized we were getting screwed... So... blatantly obvious isn't blatantly obvious to everyone.

In any Presidential race it is customary to list the things that happened during that President's term in office. ANYTHING that happened or didn't happen during Obama's term as President should be discussed and debated. Actually, he has done a lot and it should be noted as other incumbent President's have done when they ran again. Then it's up to the American people to vote and decide who runs the US.

Obama, he killed everyone . He's so awesome. He walked on water and said no war and then killed the bad guy and everyone loves him, the antiwar and the war mongers.

    Isn't he special?

    That picture is stupid.
You do realize that most peopled voted for Obama because he was....... because he said he was antiwar... Don't you ?

I'm not really even sure it was a great moment...I mean we're celebrating death here. But most certainly not in a political campaign...but then, in reality, we're not dealing with very evolved people here, either.

This isn't a partisan issue...at least not for me. I'm sorry you have to view it that way. But aren't the two situations a little different? Isn't the one where the US was a victim...and the other the US was the one who administered death? Just asking.

Because of the victim, Bush went after Osama, swearing he would get him, and gave up. Obama just finished the job he couldn't!

I'm not excited about giving credit for taking life, but perhaps the Seal team ought to be getting the credit. Bush and Obama, both, were safe and secure in Washington DC.

If Obama's word meant anything he wouldn't have released the ad he recently released, but as usual he has gone back on his word.
