Do you think Obama came down in favor of gay marriage because he, too, is in a persecuted group?

    Persecuted group?

I wasn't aware that being a liar, arrogant, inept, ignorant, racist, selfish and hateful qualifies someone to be a member of any certain group.

Except for those that are headed south when they pass away, that is.

On the whole, Obama is not persecuted because he is African American.

Most people - myself included - that do not care for the man have reached their decision based on what he is like on the inside, not the way he looks on the outside.

There are many African Americans that are wrongly persecuted, belittled, hated, harmed and judged based solely on the color of their skin.

However, no matter how much he tries to play the part, Obama is not one of them.

persecuted? laughable. he is whoring for votes, and has all but sold his soul to the devil. he would "come out" for anything that would help him further his agenda, even though he cares less about it...gays are a perfect example and only the latest.

I think the fact he decided to become in favor for it at the moment was more of a political advantage for him. Just like when he took all the credit for the killing of Osama. Never seemed to be an issue till reelection was nigh.

I agree with part of your comment, in the fact that he's supporting gay marriages is political. The part about killing Osama Bin Laden, I disagree with you. First of all, he's the president, so whatever he say's is going to go, killing Bin Laden has always been a high option, especially for those individuals who lost loved ones. President Bush blatantly let it be known that he had no interest in catching Bin Laden, and I could never understand that. Senator Obama promised that if he was elected president that Osama Bin Laden would be captured in his first term, and he was able to keep his promise. The Navy Seal wanted to go in and outright kill Bin Laden, and the president advised against that, he said that we need proof that Bin Laden is indeed dead. The president was the person who strategized the killing of Osama Bin Laden, he didn't assume or take credit for anything that he hadn't done. It's hard for those who oppose the president to give him credit where credit is due. He's a smart man, and that is a known fact.

President Obama will go down in history for knowing how to strategize, and he's greatest feat will be that of capturing Osama Bin Laden. He sent a message to anyone trying to carry on where Osama Bin Laden left off, we the United States of America don't play that. Osama had many plans to come back and finish us off, and his main goal was to take Obama out. Many of Obama's opposers think that he's a slacker and a failure, but not Osama Bin Laden, he knew what he was up against, however, thanks to President Obama the last thing that Osama Bin Laden saw was the barrell of a gun that said property of the United States of America, and he was blown away! Than my friend does not spell failure! President Obama and team capture Bin Laden Osama Bin Laden dead Osama Bin Laden dead
